Federico Mompou Suite Compostelana Performed by Alberto Mesirca Live Recording in Castelfranco Veneto, Teatro Accademico, April 2020 Video Recording by Alberto Arsie
I've got the tip about this remarkable guitarist from John Ray, excellent guitar builder in Granada and I must say: I agree, a guitar player beyond category! Technique combined with expression, soulfulness and a perfect rhythmical approach. But on which guitar is this performed, I'm curious to learn.
Muy hermoso! Lo he escuchado y me has calmado los nervios antes de ir al estudio de grabación para grabar canciones de Mompou... me recordaste que solo debo de servir al compositor usando lo poco o mucho de que dispongo. Un saludo desde Bonn.
Bravo! Best interpretation of this piece I have yet heard! So confident, and so very musical, yes, and an amazing sound! Your 'touch' is perfect. Please tell me what guitar you are playing.. The trebles are exceedingly lyrical while the basses are thick and strong. It appears from the label to be a vintage guitar but I cannot tell the maker.
Mark, I agree! What a lovely performance, and what a nice sounding guitar. Looks like you can see the name on the label at around 1:38. "Guiseppe Guagliardo"
My god that guitar! That is a great tone you have. It's so clear and sustained, but also rich and warm at the same time. I have a question. I have been studying the choral for a few weeks now, and that chord in the second bar is driving me nuts. In the Segovia edition it is fingered around the 11th position. You play it with a bar on 9th fret. It sounds a lot more smooth than the 11th position. Did you perhaps change the voicings a bit? Or is this the way it's written in the edition you used?
Hi! Thank you! If I remember well, I use the Segovia edition for that movement! And yes that chord on the 9th position, without changes on the voicings!
@@maximlamoureux4129 ha, i built the tube amps, i didn't play the guitar on that, but stalk me for potential insults anytime! try listening to a serious player of this song and compare. its day and night. this is nearly robotic in that instance. n'importe quoi, toi.
@@schance1666 I will repeat what you said of an experienced, world class musician: ''this music has so much more emotion and dynamics than what this guy could ever understand''. And of course I checked your videos out, are u kidding me? I thought this guy must be really something if Alberto sucks to him :D

I'm glad Karl Pilkington finally broke free from being in Ricky's shadow and found his thing.
Beautifully performed, very inspiring.

stupendo
what a hammer on a tack - such a brutal player. this music has so much more emotion and dynamics than what this guy could ever understand. ugh.
'' than what this guy could ever understand '' hahaha my day is taking a comedic turn early :D
now I checked your tube amp blues video and it puts your comment in a further comedic light.
