    When I listen to good players, I always wonder what guitar they play, why the sound is so good. When I listen to better players, they make me forget about the instrument and I just enjoy the music itself. When I listen to the best players, I enjoy both the music itself and the amazing sound of the instrument. You are the best, thank you!

    Exceptionally well played. So nice to also hear a really good traditional guitar being played and not those double tops with their heavy basses and wolftones all over and that annoying nasal tone.
    Superb performance in every way. Beautiful shooting and editing, great mic set up too. The tone of the guitar really comes through nicely and transparently, very...ehem...Hauser like. Congrats.

    Is that your 65 Hauser? Some guitars are popular for the volume, but if the guitar dies playing quietly? A great guitar remains great at all volumes.

    A crazy comment if you don't mind. Would you share with how it was playing a Hauser? Wolf notes? Any additional pressure needed in a register? First positions easier or the highest ones? Did you have to fight the instrument to agree on some colors/notes? Or any other personal experience on this wonderful masterpiece? If it'a a secret... Thank you

    Very nice tones!!! The guitar you are using is NOT Jean Noel Rohe, is it Romanillos 1972 that you played Leo Brower’s? 😊. It sounds bright and very balance. I play Richard Howell’s, luthier from Australia, it has similar tones. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece.

    Do you know of any guitarists with a cleaner sound than you?
    I don't. Basically no squeak or buzzing. And I can't hear any micro flat or sharp tones when I listen. Not to mention tones are held, ringing out, not cut short, yet also not just ringing with out purpose.

    • @davidjaggs
      @davidjaggs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks... I think we all (myself included of course) hear things we like in other people's playing. We can sometimes overlook our own good qualities but it's essential to keep striving to achieve the sound we have in our minds.👍👍👍

      @@davidjaggs It's a shame that so few people (in my opinion) appreciates or even understand the difficulty of clean tones.
      Like this youtube video "Best Guitar player Amin Toofani at Harvard University", it has 22 million views, half a million likes, and several friends of mine, has shown it to me "Wow right?!" .. No.. Watch DPJFILMS or Ken Nakamura, for control and clean sound, and also duality, not sure what the word is, but when you guys plays actual more than one theme / melody at once (not counting bass)
