And Donte+Klay with the box 1 on Booker during first half was key too! Props to Kerr and his staff for the game plan (more of a playoff plan), similiar feel to the game against the trail blazzers. Timeouts were on cue, at 6:34 Kerr had just asked for a timeout and prep the play for jordan poole to end the third with a double digit lead, he even celebrated with his staff after the shot. Phoenix started in slow gear, Chris Paul took a while to get agressive after noticing the efficient box1 on booker... after his agression and Ayton's, Booker had more room to his midrange, making a tough third for the warriors, really impressive stuff considering they still got Durant hurt. rarely they do so... im watching gsw since 2015 now - watched almost 90% of the highlights. it is my morning routine in germany... but i can say...in 80% of the games..they suck the first minutes and get behind up to 10 points a lot of time
Perhaps this shows that GSW has a switch they can really turn on if they want to. This is a game that meant something and they turned it on. No experimenting, no testing of G-league players. Just straight pedal to the metal from start to finish. Even getting Iggy with it.

They were fortunate with that fast start. So the rest of the second half they were playing not to lose. Their previous home games they couldn't get wet falling off a boat so they played catch-up for 48 minutes.
