This was so great. I learned I can quickly create ramps on the fly. This was exactly what I was looking for man. Thank you. I was trying to dive inside the force nodes themselves and modify the force parameters themselves with random float range. This is so much faster.

These tutorials are great. Epics tutorials assume you either know cascade or already have a bunch of niagara experience, but your series is the best I found for a beginner

First of all I would like to say thank you for this great video about curves, it helped me a lot with curves. In the cascade I made this effect using the curve on the ,,Initial Velocity,, (SEE THE VIDEO BELOW). Then I tried to do the same FX in NIAGARA and I could not set the curve on the ,,Add Velocity,,, Like you said in this video. In ,,Particle Spawn,, it is not possible to set the curve on the ,,Add Velocity,,. So, I removed the ,,Add Velocity,, from the ,,Particle Spawn,, and tried to set the curve on the ,,Acceleration Force,, in ,,Particle Update,,.
Everything worked out !

@@unrealmagic1 maybe so! im pretty lost. maybe i just need to see u mess w niagara more. blueprints was really hard at first too but im better now.
It's just like the graphs and curves you worked with in school during maths. At least it is similar and its nice to get to use that knowledge.
How you can use some parameter as value for curve? I mean no to set them directly, but make depend from other parametr
Great video... But one request: please don't go at rocket speed while teaching 😅.. I have to play video at .25 speed to understand where your mouse is clicking, things you are talking about etc . And feel like an incomplete video because there are so many things you missed.
