This two sibling youtuber are one of the very few vloggers i have stayed watching for a very long period of time. I mean these two are legit reactors, they know music, they know the industry, they know what they are doing and I think its one of the factor why are they still here. I love you both waleska and brother. Keep it up. Love from the Philippines ❤
The mall shows is a way for the mall to get a huge traffic in the mall. When there is a big artist performing, a lot of people come, that means, people dining in the restaurants. Window shopping and potentially buying something, go to other attractions and so forth. It's also a win for the artist because they're probably promoting something. They get to have a very high traffic to promote stuff. By the way, Waleska you get even more beautiful every time I stumble in your channel.
SARAH GERONIMO's mall tour for her movies and albums are always jam-packed. She even got mobbed before. Hope you still do a FEATURE FRIDAY of her stuff.
There are seats in front. Mostly those are the paid ones and not even pricey. If there’s a VIP one where you can have a photo taken with the artist, that may be the only pricey ticket but the REST, they can watch for FREE! Malls are popular because it’s HOT in our country and they need the AC ❤
Wait till you watch PABLO of SB19 UNA Mall Tours.. Totally Crazy Live Show. Him and the audience went wild inside the mall. Especially that MICHA song performance.🔥🔥🔥
The owners of these malls are multi-millionaires. They don’t have to make money on bands. They pay artists to play, turn the escalators on--people pack the food court, watch a free concert and they go home with a week worth of groceries. Brilliant businessmen.
Mall tours line up of artists usually depends what they promote... ex. If for a product a few endorsers (artist, influencer or actors) perform like 10-15 min each, if for a movie or drama they usually invite the OSTs singer with the lead actors or if for an album, the artist might bring or not another artist.. these performances would usually take only less than an hour to a little an hour.. I find it fun because sometimes you get to see singers/band just because you decided to go grocery shopping😅😁
Mall tours is a part of artist promotion of their songs/albums. But you're correct that part of the mall owners strategy is to have a free concert inside mall to help increase mall foot traffic and increase sales 😉
since most filipinos go to the mall, especially during weekends, it's a great venue for artists to promote their album or new songs. even movies. during Xmas season, to promote their show, a Chinese circus group also did a show in an Ayala mall for free. first time I saw acrobats and monocyclist and aerial artists performing in a mall... #awesome
Malls here usually set-up someone singing live in parts of the mall, or commonly in the activity center. that’s excluding restos with live bands within their restos.
Hey, can you two check out Wang Yibo? No k-pop he used to be back then, he is a Chinese actor, singer, dancer, rapper, motorcycle racer, car racer(check out gtsc 2024, his successful debut), kind of a skater, talented in everything except cooking lol. Ofc, he loves eating. Persona is straightforward, honest, no lying, no pretense on the screen, really true to himself, really hardworking, very blunt and savage at times, brand ambassador or spokeperson of 28 brands (has had a record of 42 brands), including chanel, loewe, lacoste, anta, eddifier, evisu and many others. Basically he made himself, no big background or support. His live performance is also really nice, check out his olympic qualifier series performance. He is an ambassador of Wild Aid(his documentary of pangolin protection) and now, China's Youth Representative of UN climate change.
The deferent from the world to the Philippines is that mall in the Philippines are so much alive cuz of the hot weather. Unlike mall in western countries is almost died this is a very regular thing we so called mall show's. 🤭
The mall tour every artist promotes their album/songs that the people are not on the ground floor you can also see them from grnd flr to 5th flr of the mall watching.check sb19 mall tour you can see the people up on the 5th flr.
This is common in the Philippine malls, I remember in the early 90's I was in Alimall in Cubao shopping for a shoes and when I peeked at a crowd, there was Marco Sison. These shows in malls are becoming frequent in recent years when i went home. In SM mall Cebu, they have at least once a month shows like this.
You have to check the MALLS in the Philippines it is so big, we are the most mall goers in Asia and every town in Manila have their Malls only a stone throw away from each other.
Its free if you watch outside the.lines. but if its a cd promo then you need to buy cd albums to get the seated area. But other events its just for maĺl events or promo events its free.
Tomorrow, Stell will be in OKADA for lighting of Christmas tree. Also tomorrow he will be at the Mall of Asia for WICKED. He just finished promoting his EP ROOM at Malls. PABLO also promoted his ALON and LAON at malls too.
Check out stell's room ep tour where he gets audience members to dance with him for room dance break Check out pablo's una tour for laon x alon album, especially performances for micha! and drowning in the water. Crowd work is crazy.
Somehow watching this, I feel like here if you are a singer here in Philippines, it would be more thrilling to see that you can make the crowd go silent and really listen to you sing than make to see the crowd sing along with you 😂
These mall shows are crazy especially for people who want to be in front row. Since it's usually free, some people line up very early in the morning, hours and hours before the mall even opens, and they just stay in their positions without eating until the artist comes in, which is usually late in the afternoon.
react to a LIVE KAMIKAZEE CONCERT ... lets open-up the rabbithole to OPM LIVE CONCERTS, and KAMIKAZEE WAS ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ARTIST IN THE PHILIPPINES ...
To put into perspective guys, let's say regine or sarah level artist, they cost 1 million pesos to book for maybe 3-5 songs. A mall in the philippines can easily earn that back in 1 day during holidays. Now say you get the artist in the mall, let them perform a few songs and let the fans know it will be for free. Now you have a bunch of people wanting going to the venue early like hours early before the event just to get good seats and places to see them. Because they know it is first come first serve. Now you have a bunch of fans inside a mall spending all day in waiting. They will be hungry and bored. What do they do while they wait? Buy food, shop, and spend money. Where? In the shops inside the mall. And that is how the malls get back what they paid the artists. Malls in the philippines has perfected this marketing strategy for so long now. Why do you think the artists perform so late rather than at the mall opening? And let's be honest, as fans, you won't be stopping this mentality anytime soon. It seriously is a win win situation for everyone. We get a free show from our fav artist, we buy consumables inside the mall. They pay for the artist, and get sales and foot traffic inside their mall. I am more surprised not many malls in america or around the world do this tbh. It is ssssooo manipulative and smart lol.
Then say you have a smaller event in the mall, then get a smaller artist. The higher level of artist, the higher the event and most probably sales are. I tend to know when it is the best sale event throigh the artists lined up to perform lol.
I think Its a marketing strategy of the malls, you know, because after the concert or the show there wil be people that will go buy groceires go shop something else and eat jollibee , Mcdo etc. so in the end malls gain sales you know.
Aside from mall culture in the Philippines spreading singers like butter, you are only on the tip of the ice berg, See also the fiestas all over the Philippines, inviting all stars and singers.
Please pray for us here in the Philippines, especially in Luzon. There had been 5 consecutive typhoons hitting us weekly, and another strong one will come this Saturday.
2nd video was quiet because they've had enough of her and the song 😂 and nobody just don't want to be the first to start to make a noise out of fear of being the first one to... 😂
These are not hufh quality live music , its just a normal live music shows in malls that are regular happening held by the mall owner few days in a week

Mall tours are the thing in PH.
I went to the UNA TOUR of SB19 Pablo and it's great with Jay and W3. SO great show. ❤❤❤❤❤

This is such a normal Tuesday afternoon thing in the PH that I'm just learning now that this is not a global thing 😮

And mall tours also extend to the provinces - in cities such as in Cebu, Davao etc
Not just millionaires but billion or trillionaire😁😁😁
@@BoyKoikingif we're talking about dollars, there is no such thing as a trillionaire.
@joshrillo okay no trillion but my billionaire duh😑
@@joshrilloHow on earth the word trillionaire even be a word if its not existed?

Tours of SB 19 even extended to universities/colleges throughout the archipelago, they even admitted to performing beside ( sa gilid ng ) malls.
Malls in Philippines are crazy huge.
I discovered Dilaw in FB when it was used for a Ken/Felip photo compilation. And the rest is history💛
People are quiet when Regine is singing bec they knew they could only appreciate the song and the voice if they keep quiet
I can feel the big respect for regine. it's like we don't like to tarnish her live singing with our out of tune screams haha
Mall tours is a part of artist promotion of their songs/albums.

Did you know Ayala Malls are also notorious for having international artists do mall shows too? I remember Lany and Lauv did those.
Its not jut ayala mall . . But most mall in the Philippines they can do concert.
When Regune sings, peiple dont dare to sing along

they also tend to have shows in schools and colleges, just abot the same setup,, full on concert mode

we also often have midnight sales with the malls hiring artists to do short sets.... and these were surprise things.

Happened that to me. I went to our local mall to buy something from a grocery and then I bumped into Christian Bautista singing on a stage :)
