    You have the best baseball videos online... No loud obnoxious music that makes the videos unwatchable, and no editing after effects. Just pure baseball. You are the man my friend, as well as my favorite youtuber.

    I love how 90% of the cameramen had no ideas where the ball was. :D "Eh, we'll show a shot of the stands, it may or may not eventually end up there".

    • @Ea-Nasir_Copper_Co
      @Ea-Nasir_Copper_Co 8 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      You jest, but the old TV cameras were boat anchors that couldn't pan up high enough to follow a really high home run.

    • @GwresYnKernow
      @GwresYnKernow 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, yes. Good point. :)

    • @striveforselflessness3220
      @striveforselflessness3220 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not to mention that you're trying to follow a ball that is only 3 inches in diameter, travelling over a 100 mph away from you in a viewfinder that is about 6"x 4" (depending on camera and era it was made) and it's in black and white. There are newer cameras now that are in color, have better definition and larger but it is still hard at times to see balls that are clobbered deep into the stands.

    6:15 - That is the call of an opposing team broadcaster giving that type of spirit. I absolutely love that. All broadcasters should strive to be like Dave Niehaus. What a love for the game. He is just in awe of Mcguire's shot, and forgets for just a moment that he is supposed to not be rooting for him.

    I think Cecil Fielder was the most powerful hitter.
    He hit the ball so hard that the ball starts to cry everytime..

  • @SeanP7195
    @SeanP7195 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Cecil Fielder one of the strongest people to ever play baseball. He was hitting 40 and 50 when it was unheard of in the dead ball era. For him to hit one out of Tiger Stadium over the left field roof is insane. Also, Reggie Jackson 1971 All-Star game at Tiger stadium hit the lights in right center. Had to easily be a 500 footer. P.S. they loved their tight pants in the 90s. P..S.S, I saw you had Jacksons homer at the end. Good stuff.

      McGwire + Roids + a Randy Johnson fastball blazing down the pipe = the back wall of the Kingdome. Pretty easy to get exit velocity when Randy gives you such nice incoming velocity to begin with.
