I very good video! I was glad in your pre-talk, you mentioned that, most of the time it’s not raining in the rainy season. I’ve been to Panama and Costa Rica and rain rolls in, rains for a reasonable time and then passes on.

1) Are there a lot of mosquitos during the rainy season?
2) Because it rains so much during this season, does the ground ever get a chance to dry out; i.e. Is it muddy/puddles everywhere for 6 mos?
3) What is the driest/lowest humidity area in Panama?

Thanks. Mozzies: it is such a subjective q/a depending exactly where you are. Generally it is not a problem in the city, there are exceptions though. Mud: the ground dries very fast and you would not know it rained an hour or so later, unless you’re in very shaded areas. For example if you go hiking you can find waterlogged parts of trails that are on flat areas and shaded. Cooler climate: can be found by going higher up, so places Vulcan, Boquete, Anton valley.
