This is absolutely true...when I use sunscreen according to two finger rule, my skin always starts peeling off and when I use it less then my two fingers, it doesn't.
That's because the two or three finger rule are for those who have pale skin like foreigners to protect sun damage as per their genetic skin. This rule doesn't apply on Indian skin tone, we don't need that amount because that's a lot. Minimal amount is enough as per how much your skin want.
Sunscreen that leave white cast are best suit for sensetive skin during Summers. it gives more effective barrier protection (specially the one with zinc oxide)
Actually we don’t really need that much- companies push forward using more is better standard because they want yu to keep buying more- I’ve worked an entire 50ml bottle within 1.5 months just by using it wisely and the required amount for my skin . Rest i keep myself indoors and covered . So no useless finger rules applicable for me

I wore aqualogica yellow one to college and in like 40 degrees temperature and my experience didn't go quite well i had lots and lots of excessive sweating experience which was more then my usual..... but yes it is amazing and great if you are sitting under fan at home or just under fan or ac then it won't melt otherwise it sweats super badly i feel like i need to switch to some other water resisted sunscreen 😬Also my skin type is combination .

The less the spf , the more they are dry and leave white cast.. The more spf they contains the more oily are sun scream on skin. So choose wisely.
My sunscreen is of Lotus ... And it leaves white cast on face but glows quite well and I use it a lot😅
