The dancer had an entire life up to this point. She wrote poems no one would ever read, she one time babysat an iguana, she saw a live jazz concert with her friends- I imagine her at the bottom of that overpass, as the water overtakes her vision, she realizes that she was nothing more than a background character to some person she never met. Would she be at peace knowing that all her failures were not her fault? Or would she despair at how all her efforts were futile?
I have a theory that they were planning on having more revelations but just never got around to implementing them. I mean, one per character seems a little low.
The enviroment do. Kamurocho is basically just kabuki-cho with slight paint over. In real life, it is an area with high yakuza presence due to many nightlife entertainment in the area.

I've never played any Yakuza game before, but i can tell it is a pretty interesting franchise
Bro, you should. You'll have blast. I recommend playing yakuza 0 first. Cuz it has one of the best storyline and cuz its cheap for its value. There is no particular need to play it in order. But its just make it easier to understand the story well.
@@chrismoreno7181 uhh you probably wanna play them in a general order, you can start with either 1 or 0 (although 1 isnt as heartbreaking without 0 beforehand), but after that, you probably wanna just go with 2-3-4-5-6-7. play judgment whenever

that scene could be interpreted in a very interesting and creative way ngl. being shamed for smtg until you were able to put on a show with said shameful thing/until it became entertaining, then everyone suddenly loves you. and you push yourself to achieve such greatness no matter how hard you push yourself, until eventually your own success leads to your downfall once more. i’d be inspired too man😭

That moment you realize Yakuza is the greatest game franchise in the world.
This clip finally made me sit down and play Yakuza. Never knew what game it was until I hit her sub story in 5....
Or would she despair at how all her efforts were futile?

start from yakuza 0 for the good experience and learn about the characters and then slowly move on to the series , after completion yakuza 0 then start yakuza kiwami then yakuza kiwami 2 then yakuza 3 remastered then yakuza 4 remastered then yakuza 5 remastered then yakuza 6 and last yakuza L.A.D . there are spin offs too like for example : judgement and lost judgement which aren't related to the main storyline but is pretty good to try.
