Ooh, looks like I’m first. I must admit I like the looks of the Grandland and that colour, but it’s just too expensive at £41k for the bottoms trim. That put’s it in the luxury tax band. I’d consider it for my next company car if it was 3 or 4 grand cheaper. PS - love the magic colour change at 16:07!
@@ISuperTed Ah it might've done - check again. They reduced the prices by £5k today (I had the new prices when I filmed this last week but they hadn't made them public). It's only the Ultimate version that's over £40k now.
Nice car. Peugeot steering wheel kills it for me along with the "Luxury" car tax on top models. If I was in the market for something like this I'd wait a few years & buy used. Totally with you on the Monaro.
The seats look comfy Think you may need to get a monaro on the channel. Are you still thinking of doing reveiws on older cars as suggested in a previous video?
I will when I find the time/insurance. Can't take random days off during the week to film annoyingly, and then my kids demand my attention at weekends. Bloody life
As much as I'd like to like this, and in many respects I do, it has no personality whatsoever and the comfortable / functional cabin is just not enough to make it anything else than a nice appliance at this point. The vizor grill looks nice on the Astra and Mokka but with this they have iterated it too far and too quickly, I can't see it aging well. I have to give it to the rear end designers though, the taillights look cool, the last Saab 9-5 comes to mind.
Car testers have ruined car boot design… flat load on floor means everything falls out when you park on a hill and you can’t get to the underfloor cable storage because there’s 550l of stuff on top.
Waarom zo streng? Enkel omdat het een Vauxhall is? Als iemand daar voor zichzelf een 8,5 wil geven, dan zegt dat iets over zijn impressie en oordeel van dat moment. Waarom bezoedeld je dat weer met vooringenomenheid?
I just don’t understand why anyone looking for a new car would say ‘I know let’s buy a Vauxhall’. Much better cars out there. Much better value out there. They look worse, feel worse and all in all I just don’t get it. Buy a Dacia and save a bunch of money.
Vauxhall cars all looking similar in a very bland way I wouldn’t spend my money on one. last Vauxhall I had was a Adam after the customer service we had never again

Maybe I didn't make it clear in the video, but £41k is for the top trim...
@@TimRodieDrivesStuffOh, thought it says from £41k on the Vauxhall site………….

@@TimRodieDrivesStuffMakes sense - might be able to look at it for my next company car now! Still says from £41,000 on the Vauxhall site though.

It’s not a Peugeot steering wheel. It’s clearly larger and you can look though it as opposed to over

I do believe that the 1.2 136HP powertrain is a mild hybrid, with a full hybrid coming soon.
The colour of the car suits you 😉 Apparently, pink is a manly colour in some countries
But this is copper / salmon colour 🤓
That is clearly not a Peugeot steering wheel. It’s clearly larger and you look through it at the speed as opposed to over.
That's my bad - I've realised that since! It's still small, but you definitely look through it and not over it as you say
7:53 storing K7s hahahahaha
Why didn’t Vauxhall offer the 1.6?
This is what the next generation BMW X5 and X3i will look like thanks to their Neue Klasse designs 😅

Go down to the comments and tell me the Tim Rodie phrase for ‘Just buy a Škoda instead”
That accent was very Aussiemerican

Rip headphone users at 11:00😊
I though it's called ASMR these days haha
Yo Tim, to be honest it doesn't really inspire and at over two tons, the EV version is to say the least rather lardy :)
Pure Tech Engines? Avoid like the plague according to the majority of Motor Mechanics and Engineers.
8.5/10 really? I would have thought 7 tops.
I'm thinking I was perhaps a little too kind. Can I go down to a 7.5?
@@TimRodieDrivesStuffyes permission granted 😆

Why would anyone buy this???
Because they want to for whatever reason.

@ Because a Dacia is about 20 grand cheaper. So that’s why. There are far better cars in the price point here that I genuinely don’t understand it.
@@zappybazinga8124 For 20 grand cheaper, you get what you pay for, there's a clearly a market for both.

Must be the most generic car ever. No wonder Vauxhall are going bankrupt
