Tergantung dia tereliminasi di tantangan yg mana. Chef Reynold memang dessert king. Kalau tantangannya soal dessert, dia ngga bakal bisa kalah. Tapi dia punya kelemahan di non-dessert. Jadi kontestan lainnya lebih berbakat di bidang itu, jadi Reynold bisa jatuh kalau tantangannya bukan di bidangnya. Masterchef kompetisinya harus dalam segala bidang kuliner. Biasanya yang menang adalah chef amatir berbakat yang bisa memiliki bakat rata-rata yang bisa masak berbagai macam masakan. Jadi kalau cuma bisa ahli dalam satu bidang saja, bagaimanapun kuatnya di bidang itu, akan selalu kalah dengan chef lainnya yang mungkin tidak berbakat dalam bidang tertentu, tapi bakatnya merata ke bidang masakan yang lainnya.

The making of each component of the dish has it's own technique specially the white string, I never saw that technique before! I'm Filipino but why do I "somehow" understand some some words.. especially with my visayan dialect. Very similar.
They are similar. If I'm not wrong, during the ice age, Africans walked to the Philippines and became the first homo sapiens in the country, and are now called Aetas. Next were Indonesians, then Malaysians came through boats.
It's no surprise that we have similar words because filipinos basically descended from the Indonesians and Malaysians.
The accent is so similar to Tagalog too and I finally understand what it must sound like for non-tagalog speakers. If i took this accent with a Spanish one, you’d get Filipino I feel like 😂
