Agnostic ex-Christian here. I still love listening to Andy's music. You just feel that Andy's music comes from the heart. One of the realest rappers. As a hip hop fan I can see he is one of the best I ever heard. With all the monotonous crap out there about money and sex, having some deep rap about struggling in life is welcome fresh air. As a non-Christian Andy Mineo fan, I feel like Christian rappers like Andy are the modern concious rappers. Sure, you have folks like J.Cole and Kendrick, but I don't see so many secular rappers having such positive and uplifting messages that are about real-life problems.
