I’ve had one of these for over 20 years and no kidding, it’s probably my #2 favorite .22 Slam fires and is accurate as hell! Just a nice simple rifle that can shoot fast, accurate and simple.
My local gun shop has two of these in stock,,been researching these and haven't found any negative issues with them.Always good to have 22 plinkers for some fun shooting.
If you know your local FFL dealer you should check online on and see if you can find any Winchester model 62s or 61s you can find them for quite low prices and boy are they amazing.
If you are looking at this gun, the barrel has been breaking out of the die cast receiver, even before it has been fired. One person received his broke right out of the box. I wanted one of these, but saw the video on defect. So they may have fixed the defect. Haven't been able to find any info on redesign.
If you look at the original Winchester 1890 and compare it to this Rossi, the thing that this modern gun lacks is the look and feel of the original. This gun looks clunky and doesn't at all capture the essence of the original.

I have the model 62 Really love it I like the the new one because it has upgrades it has safeties on it now I think that makes a little bit better

I have one. It’s accurate and fun to shoot, but the action was fairly stiff out the box. Nice video, BTW.
I think there good guns but if i’am going to spend over 3 hundred I’ll probably get me a Henry or Remington 572 for a hundred or two more.

I won’t be buying one of these now even if it were 20 bucks. Why can’t things be made right the first time? So sick of it
@@davestikeleather7489 I researched it, and Rossi fixed the design big time. There are none that have the broken part anymore.

I own a original winchester. I agree not the same exact feel but still nice to shoot with and affordable
Yeah for $300 what you expect lol. Proper copy or original will run you 3x that
