2024 BMW x1 xdrive28i is it Better than a x1 m35i :All Specs & Test Drive

In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #BMW #x1 xdrive28i and the 2024 #BMW #x1 m35i then take it for a test drive. BMW has added an m-sport to the x1 for 2024, standard all wheel drive and a tuned suspension. The x1 m35i gets 312 horsepower but both BMWs will share the FWD platform that is shared with the Mini that will lead to some quirks which will bring out the pros and cons.

A clear comparison, thank you. Puts the choice clear: M35i is $5K-$15K more than the comparably optioned 28i for a “wow” factor of a second faster to 60mph and taking curves a bit faster. Besides sacrificing price, you lose gas mileage about 2mpg less, no spare tire, and no 18” wheel option, which improves ride over bumps. Lag/lurch from a stop present in both vehicles. Paddle shifters can be optioned on the 28i if you want.
So choosing the M35i makes sense on those days you want to canyon carve, but not ordinarily. Whaddaya wanna pay for that “wow”?

Apart from which X1 to choose, I decided the 28i was roomy, quick, nimble, and quiet. My choice over a Benz or Audi or gas engine XC40 Volvo. Paid $45K with all options except paddle shifters and bigger wheels.

I just test drove both, there is no comparison. The M35i is a beast. If you can afford it, it is worth it.

Here in Canada, the M35 is 8k CAD more than a 28i M sport. Not sure that's worth it.
