- Paint a dynamically lit model in half the time by combining Halfchop with Airbrushing, for the fastest way to speed paint. Oh, and you'll see how to paint a Tcho Tcho for Cthulhu: Death May Die.

Thank you for the kind comment! I'm happy that you enjoyed it.
great video!
Thanks, bud!!!
The wash on this one looks great - though I definitely didn't picture these guys as having red skin.
Neither did I. The truth is, that I did a little research on the Tcho Tcho AFTER I started painting. Oops. I think I still would have leaned towards painting it close to the game art, since that's the reference that most gamers have. Thank you for the positive feedback!
Nice, thanks!
Did you mention how long time you spent on this?
Thank you so much! I didn't specifically track the time on these minis. I batch painted all 5 minis at the same time. Something that stood out (when I was editing the raw footage) was that the entire airbrushing session took a little less than 5 minutes for all 5 miniatures. So fast. The wash took several minutes, going very quickly, also. I probably spent too much time painting the highlights on the back. If speed is the goal, I'd dry brush the white highlights on the back like I did in my ghoul video here:

After experimenting with several approaches to painting the back, dry brushing the back with white, followed by a dark blue speed paint, is the fastest, and my favorite.
Did you paint the rest of these guys the same way after finding that you didn't like how the highlights on the dark side turned out or did you do them different?
They're all the same. I batch painted them, meaning I painted each step on all five minis before moving on to the next step. I basically treat them as one miniature when batch painting. Any lessons learned here will be applied to my next miniature. Thank you for the comment!
😅
There was a "tallywacker" joke in here somewhere, but I refrained.
