- I have always said, all you can eat buffets in Asia are far superior than my previous favorite buffet town of Las Vegas. As it stands my favorite all you can eat buffet was at the Hotel Nikko Saigon Seafood Buffet.
But in Jakarta at the Pullman hotel, there is a Sunday brunch buffet that is out of this world! With all you can eat seafood including LOBSTERS cooked the way you want and all this can be had for around $34 which makes this the most value driven brunch buffet I've ever been to.

When it comes to something spicy in indonesia red usually not that spicy but when it comes to green its really spicy
I haven’t tried the new pullman’s buffet but i think it cost you about $52 based on these days exchange rate. It’s still relatively reasonable compared to Mulia hotel’s buffet. All in all you provided great content and i thoroughly enjoy watching you eat on “all of our” behalf. Love you and all you do, Mike. Keep it up👍😘

I'm not even talking about grammar here 'cause hell mine sucks. Great if she probably speaks 5 languages even though I highly doubt it sorry but let's be real when you go to a 5 star hotel chain you expect the worker to be able to speak english no? My guess is she's a PR or part of marketing team but that level of verbal skill is honestly lacking. Am not even try to "attack" her that's just the way it is 🙄
Ade Panca she is working in Indonesia, to hell with your world class english. Their language is world class as well, go speak to them in your language.
Basic purpose of any language is to communicate and that she can in English.
Hey im from indonesia and im in an culinary high school watching this video im realizing something that a lot of people go from all around the world just to eat indonesian dish but i never see a restaurant do that... So mike wait until i graduate and you will taste all indonesian dish in one place hahahaha thats my dream.
Get a indonesian map for your restaurant.. and pin on map where is your dish recipe come from.. we got so many different food in different island and places

Pullman Jakarta is used to be Hotel Nikko, if I'm not mistaken. The buffet there was legend since many years back when I was in University. Never revisit since it changed to Pullman though, seems to be on the bucket list now.
My two fav buffet in Jakarta are still Shangrilla Satoo Sunday Brunch (they had combined Sunday Brunch with the Chinese restaurant as well once a month, there is no way anyone could have the stomach to sample it all) and Keraton Hotel Sunday Brunch. Keraton is where you have to go if you love Lobster. Keraton is much pricier at > USD 50, but you got all you can eat Lobster, Wagyu, Foie Gras and other high quality ingredients, order and serve to your table like in fine dining restaurant.

This one is in Thamrin, which few years back used to be Hotel Nikko. Even back then the buffet is already well known.

It actually makes me mad how amazingly high quality restaurants are, paired with their cheap price due to food costs. There is no way a buffet like that would exist in California.
I paid USD$77 before drinks, tax, and tip for a lunch set at a Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in London. I would trade GR restaurant for this buffet in Jakarta anytime, at half of the cost. The service and Michelin experience at Gordon Ramsay were superb though. I think my palette prefers singapore crab, peking duck, and some sambal to the fancy beef wellington or sous vide duck. Mike is right , you cant find this kind of buffet anywhere in the US for $30-40.
Try Buffet in Philippines and you will know how good taste it is :)

After watching his video, I did book flight to Jakarta exclusively to eat here and another beef ribs place.
I wasn't disappointed at all.
They increased their prices to almost 45 us dollars.beef at Japanese station was exceptional.
Lobster was really good ....
I would to stop or have layover in Jakarta exclusively for this buffet.

now the ironic thing is ... food is not that expensive in Indonesia lol. Because believe it or not, we produce like 90% of the ingredients and, this is sad but true, the salary of the employees making it is way lower than people in the western

I LOVE brunch and Indonesian food. I like how they just have small serves so you can try lots of things without being wasteful and it all looks delicious plus excellent value. If lockdown ever ends I want to head there ASAP.

This is a very elegant restaurant. Food is eaten with the eye and the taste. It can be really beautiful and I've only got 1 metre of intestine left after many surgeries and eating is painful for me. Yet here I am watching Mike and I feel hungry. Thank you Mike it takes a lot for me to want to eat. You are literally a lifesaver and I thank you so much for broadening my food horizons. Safe travels and eating of course.

Not even joking, every weekend when I sit down to watch your videos I make sure that I first have a bowl of chili oil noodles in front of me. I learnt the hard way that watching your show without a chili oil dish at the ready is just an act of self-torture.

The problem is my stomach very easy to get full after 2 portions of meal and I just can’t force it to eat everything on that buffet, but for next business visit to Jakarta I will try those buffet place. Thanks for sharing this video, always waiting for the new one!

that's my problem too, how do you go to such an amazing place, but can't even try everything because how much can a person actually eat in one sitting? not much before you start to feel sick.
Try a little bit of everything you'd like to try (not full portion), or at least most of them. Then, if you still have some space left in your stomach, go ham with what you like most. xD

I looooove this buffet! Been there several tmes. There are wide range of food selections and and all of them taste great! The service is top notch as well, i was told my mom that i got a headache and one of the staff contacted the paramedic to checked on my condition and gave me a pain reliever. Definitly would reccomend this place to everyone.. Oh and they have playground for kids too!
When you sit down with your dinner and your like theres nothing to watch :( but you notice Mikey has a new vid out. Good times :-)

This is amazing! Most of the best buffets I have ever had have been in Jakarta hotels, Le Meridien and Shangri La as two examples. Love watching you eat three times as much as I could ever hope to!

This was spectacular! I love how you just flew past the Japanese sushi and sashimi. That was funny. The music selections between the buffet rounds was really off the hook. Wish I knew the artists that created the phenominal music. Like most of your vids had to go right back and rewatch.

These type of Mikey buffet videos always gets me drooling over my phone.
Mike, I recommend that you visit this placed called Orchid Live Seafood Garden in Singapore when you come back to visit. They are famous for their seafood, especially lobster. Although it can be expensive, the food there is divine, especially the Boston Lobster which is served with cream and butter.
