After my visit to channel 4 which is yet to be published I went along the Broadcasting centre complex home to ITV and BBC where security wanted to not only break the law but make up their own laws to boot.

A mate of mine works the music festivals on security and had to do the SIA "licence".
He told me that a Chimpanzee would pass the 3-day course (£150 when he did it) and there were a couple on his course that were not even that smart, and the course providers sat with them during the "exam" (a tick test) and completed it for them.
The SIA has somehow managed to get a .gov website address but it's NOT a public body, it's a private industry and regulates itself which is like letting school kids mark their own homework....!
You can do the mock test online. Without any training, I passed 100%. £150 for a course when he could have just took the test means he's wasted his cash.

I am so sick of foreigners telling us what we can do. LA, I'd have walked away when he answered his phone, that was very rude, he didn't even say excuse me. All SIA security should be made aware of our photography laws when they take the course, and their badges not being on show is becoming the norm and that's not right.
Mouthy people who won't let you get a word in edge ways really annoy me. What's the point in asking you a question and then gobbing off relentlessly so that you can't answer them, honestly.

Cheers I work in security and I ain't none of them cause when I did my courses I listened about the law etc and I ain't foreign I am scottish so please don't class us all under the same brush I agree there is certain cultures need to be taught more cause it's thease people who give security a bad name

Yes most British security guards know the law and if no law is broken then why would they come out to talk to you that’s why you only see the ones that don’t no the laws
Can someone in the UK do a public record request on how many security guards have been prosecuted for failing to have their badge on display? Surely it must either be a huge number or it must not be enforced and yet councils employe people to pursue the public for dropping litter, how about enforcing the law around security guards, that would be easy money for the council authorities?
Its a government scheme, ee all know the government will not admit to anything being wrong.
Take for example:-
We had no party, then it was we folled all relevant restrictions, then had to apologise to parliament, then the fines came.

We had an open border for decades and flooded the county with cheap labour. Native white people don't want to do these jobs. At least these are working my biggest issue is the ones that are on benefits. I've seen tax payer funded flats with multiple benefits payment letters building up in the hallways because the people getting the payments from us the taxpayer aren't living in this country but still claiming.

Parliament has given anyone the permission to photograph anything from a public place.
The security guard was clueless, rude and threatening. The only redeeming thing was she wore a SIA badge.
She basically needs to be retained and given a written warning.
Parliament didn't give permission to film. Laws are made to presentations. Human rights are protected by laws to stop government abusing our rights.

Im embarrassed to have held 2 SIA badges a few years back, I see Security not knowing laws and there job more and more the longer I spent time holding my licences in the places I worked, including managers. Its a joke of an industry now. How do these numpys pass the licences is bemusing to me....
