@@the1sH0 I do the same. To avoid hitting space accidentally I bound jump to G, vault to H. Because you don't jump at same time you lean it works. You can also take out the big spacebar and put a smaller Keycap like shift or arrow key on it to avoid clicking.
For a more basic config, leaning is often on Q and E. Try swapping Q and E around. You'll get used to leaning right with Q and left with E quite quickly (within a few hours max). The advantage is that you can peek around a corner moving right (D) while leaning right (Q), then when you need to get back in cover moving left you let go of lean automatically. This is 100% better than not swapping and works well enough for slower paced games. For faster paced games there are likely more efficient (more exotic) configs possible.
I've been tinkering with pedals in shooters since around 2007, but not once it crossed my mind to just swap Q and E, that's genius tbh! Instead I put leaning on X and C when using a keyboard which also isn't ideal.
Even better is to use thumb bottons on mouse for leaning, however that means needing to find new keys for whatever you have there - but it makes less finger-juggling needed when peeking.

id rather use it for opening apps, or muting discord or hotkey it to stream in discord. a lot of latency and not the highest build quality doesnt put it up there for gaming. i dont think its meant to be actuated over and over and over, and in games like siege, where you ideally wanna shaiiko lean spam cringe peek, idk if it would hold up very long to that
My HyperX Cloud Orbit S headphones have headtracking. You can bind lean left/right to tilting your head slightly. Works perfect. Much better than using pedals lol.

I just wish basic functions didn't need to the software running. Ive been interested in foot pedals since the stinky foot board. atm I use this for push to talk channels.
"I don't think people rapidly lean - do they? I can't imagine that's an advantage" Funny because that's probably true now but back when Siege first came out lean spamming was the norm
Its good but not very innovative. I hope it makes more people interested in foot pedals. The (discontinued) stinky footboard was interesting, it was basically a foot Dpad with keyboard switches. MSI have one but I don't think its for sale. Pedals can be a game changer and help with disabilities, more choice and variety would be nice.
Depends what kind of game you're playing ... if it's intense, that slight delay (that I think is there) might hinder you, but for single player / more casual play, should be fine. Guessing you're looking at mice with lots of buttons so you can control most of it with one hand? If you can still find one, the Roccat Leadr is great because it has paddles and stuff, rather than just buttons. Sorry to hear you lost function, hope you can get it back somehow! Until then, yeah I'd be looking at some alternatives ... I've heard someone even uses a second keyboard with their feet. That sounds too hard to me, but what about something like the Razer Tartarus V2? It has fewer and I think slightly bigger keys, plus some custom controls for thumb, that could be used with feet easier maybe? I can imagine using that little joystick bit with big toe (left foot), I heard people use that to move in MMOs, so maybe you could too? Kinda similar to what you'd get on a controller. Hope that helps, good luck!

id rather use it for opening apps, or muting discord or hotkey it to stream in discord. a lot of latency and not the highest build quality doesnt put it up there for gaming. i dont think its meant to be actuated over and over and over, and in games like siege, where you ideally wanna shaiiko lean spam cringe peek, idk if it would hold up very long to that
My HyperX Cloud Orbit S headphones have headtracking. You can bind lean left/right to tilting your head slightly. Works perfect. Much better than using pedals lol.
Terrible for your neck and doesnt feel great trying to play and wiggle head around.
@@TheShadowFox1 nah its perfect, better than some clunky pedals you have to step on
you just lean with Q/E you just reverse the direction. So lean right is Q and lean left is E. Lets you strafe right when you lean right and lean left when going left.
How's the build quality?
I just wish basic functions didn't need to the software running. Ive been interested in foot pedals since the stinky foot board. atm I use this for push to talk channels.
I've been using the Philips ACC2320 Foot Pedal for years now, they're actually for dictation purposes but work wonderful for games
Check out Fragpedals next, I fucking love my quads for leans in Tarkov!

Pedal is pretty common for streamers with keyboard/mouse cam who need to toggle their cheats on.
Omg first time i saw using lean left right to space and shift or ctrl like me.
u think i can use this a s a controller for walking in game ?ilost function in my left hand and cant use my keyboardanymore

Seems like there are some really interesting products out there, I'm going to have to test a few out and do some videos.

Are you able to use it on ps5?
Will this work on ps5
Can you use it on the Xbox series x?
$90 for 3 buttons... I am wanting something like this for games like EFT.
I have said this would be smart to my friends for a 1 year now.. And yes pubg players does rapid lean, very common.
this cant have been uploaded 4 months ago?
perfect for using star power in clone hero
Buying this for omni movement in b06
Hey, good content. Can we expect update on mouse tier list anytime soon?
in siege you usually giggle peek so i'd feel like i was playing assetto corsa with my feet
Been using pedals to activate mic and scoreboard.
Why is the delay so huge?
Unplayable with the elgato pedal
Silly RJN, footpedals are for Aimbot toggle.
Original idea
Shouldn't it's latency be compared to that of a keyboard?
Keyboard latency is similar to mice, so no diff, this still has that extra delay somehow.

Hello!
There might be good news! Google search:Elgato Stream Deck - Customizable Multi Action Delays
Stream deck 5.3 allows you to set the delay between 2-100 ms. Not sure if that'll work with the pedal aswell.
Please let me know if it works!!
That's just going to allow you to set delays on top of whatever delay it has already, so nah very unlikely that's going to work, sorry!
Pedal for moving forward ?
Too hard to press and that "delay" would cause issues. I'd leave the pedal commands to things that are just kind of annoying to have on the keyboard like character abilities or grenades even.
This could be useful for zooming in Xonotic without messing with aim...
Lots of streamers own foot peddles. They claim to use them for toggling Discord/chat but, given the amount of sus game play, snaps, pixel perfect limb aim, center chest, head only, etc. shots, it appears they use foot peddles for toggling something else.
Foot pedals are op peripherals.
