the foil would not be a factor since it starts to only be effective when you are up on plane.
@@jimmie7049 You can open the throttle as soon as you come out from under the bridge. Unless it's a _really_ rough day at the inlet, you'd have plenty of time to get to planing speed. Yes, then the question would be can the boat maintain that speed through the chop.

When you talk about something and point at it, would be nice if WE saw what your talking about.
Add some Sharrow props and do a full performance test. The result could be ground breaking, especially at mid range.

Back her down to say 15-16 still on plane the range increases dramatically. Foil, 300 Verado's with joystick and own the best balanced CAT out there*

I'm new to boats, but can I travel across the world in this?
What is the max horsepower you can have on the Aquila 36
in the Pacific Northwest we have a lot of debris (logs, etc) in the water. One would imagine that the foil could get easily damaged. Would Marine Max please comment on this.

Jesus, my boat gets less than one gallon per hour.... sure, sleeping on an eighteen foot open skiff would suck,but that’s why I’m building a cabin on my property, so I can dock the boat, walk 300 yards, and sleep in a bed keeping warm with a wood fireplace, inside protected from the bears (my property is in Alaska)....
