Cs2 underwater has nothing yet because there are no official maps where you can go underwater without being outside the map. Expect that to change at a later date (obviously)
De_pool_party workshop map you can test it out and you will get underwater effect

It wouldn't leave a bullethole from an 9mm, so most of you guys are just dumb💀 they didn't add water because they removed maps with water going above your legs, so maps like mirage only have suface physics, CS2 made it through the gameplay part, you don't pull out molotov already ignited, you ignite it then throw
@@wertasificationAre you dumb? He lights the molotov in the beginning of the animation. Also, you wrote that 9mm WOULD leave bullet holes in the door, and that everybody were just dumb, but the point was that in CS2, they DON'T leave bullet holes. Idk if it was a typo or if you're just really dumb.

For anyone wondering, CS2 has no underwater animation because CSGO had danger zone which you could go underwater in but CS2 doesnt.
To be fair instead of a graphics update. Valve could have just made a new game mode or something. Csgo is like games like LOL which even untouched will survive because its game is not based on content but replayability.
cs2 if it has underwater animation, enter the pool map in arms race.

@@idkwhyieventryanymore ok, i thogut the molotov was before lighting it so cs 2 made more sense, i stand corrected but the bullet holes are not visible because the door works different now, it bends when you hit it and after enough hits a hole is made, it is more realistic.
It was the same with csgo, things will get better.

As a thousands hour player i dont care the graphics. We always set it to low details. 😂😂😂😂
It's terrible, the developers are trying to achieve good graphics for the players, and you turn everything to the minimum... However, the choice is still yours. And, probably, when you’ve been playing a game for more than a thousand hours, it may no longer matter what graphics you play on, when the game becomes like work (hello e-sports!).

For competitive games settings are lowered for visual clarity. There's no reason for motion blur, bloom, god rays, particle effects etc cranked to the max. They cause visual distractions for competitive people. If you watch competitive SC2 from a players POV not the casters POV, the players have everything lowered to the point the game looks super weird just for visual clarity.

i think people miss out that these are visual things, and the game is fairly recent so it doesnt have some of the details that csgo had. they will most likely come soon, but the visual appeal of cs2 is awesome

Didn't vavle know that most of their player base have a low end device and can't really support all of this fancy shit that they're adding in their new game?
It's not just the matter of updating the game to fits with current graphics quality but also to understand what and why the current players would rather playing CSGO than CS2.
CSGO was THE game to play on if you have a low-end pc since it can basically run even on an integrated graphics.
I wouldn't apposed the existence of CS2 but don't just remove CSGO just because you know that there's gonna be less players in your new game.
I can barely see the playing characters moving around so I am still trying to figure out what type of mental condition motivated whoever worked on the avatars, to work on the eye colour detail. Cause I would actually have a good list of technical details very much relevant to performance issues to suggest developers if they run out of irrelevant details to work on.

It does, you need to put the right brush for it in Hammer. Theres no point having swimmable water in an area you cant play in for optimization. Swimming underwater in CS2 is still wack tho.
Also, swimming in CS2 is broken as you can't ascend or descend.
Its not usable because its NOT IN A PLAYABLE SPACE, no need for effects there, wait for the damn house map with the shore.

The biggest fix would be to lower the delay between shooting and killing someone.

So every time I aim with an awp or scout, my fps drops to 20 just to have a shoe that gets wet in water and smoke that gets affected by bullets..... what a trade

Complaining about the underwater effect in an area that’s not even a playable part of the map is silly. The only legitimate issue I saw in this was the fire on the Molotov not showing up, the door not showing bullet holes was also a negative but at the same time, that’s something a lot of other objects still have so it’s not an engine limitation but likely a small oversight that can be fixed.
This is very cherry picked because you could easily make countless videos with all of the details added that weren’t in csgo.
Also love how people always focus on these small details instead of complaining about fatal bugs that ruin the game

Underwater is understandable BCS no dangerzone or maps where you play underwater. The Molotov fire was always very glitched in CSGO, so they probably removed it until they fix it. But there's no excuse for the missing door bullets...
