The next video is finally here! I hope you all enjoy it! Alexander Fleming was a very different person to Leonardo da Vinci, but Fleming had a huge impact on our world, totally transforming society, and utterly changing modern medicine with his discovery of penicillin. It was fascinating to research, write, and create this video. And I hope you all enjoy it as much as the previous one.
My videos take 3 to 6 months to create. And this channel doesn't currently earn me that much money, so I have to work on other stuff as well to pay the bills. But I've already started work on the next video, so hopefully that should be uploaded in a few months.
I've never waited for some other channel to upload their video, but trust me, I've been waiting for your videos for a long time. your content is next level, one day you'll make a video about yourself, and how you've changed the world, by providing such awesome content, keep growing buddy, We're always here to support you!
I was born and raised in England but my father was from Scotland. We all know who Sir Alexander Fleming is in our family! He should be a name that trips off everyone’s lips - my goodness we have all heard of Mother Theresa and Florence Nightingale (the latter at least in the UK) - but Alexander Fleming should be a name that everyone knows for the lives that his work and perseverance saved. Great video - thank you sir for your great work.
100% agree. It's hard to think of someone else who has had a bigger positive impact on all of our lives. Thanks for watching. Is there anyone else from history who has changed the world that you think I should make a video on?
I just discovered this TH-cam channel and I'm disappointed to find out that there are only two videos uploaded yet. I can't wait for this channel to grow and get popular, I think this contents is awesome.
I never heard of Alexander Flemings. Thank you for the knowledge, it is seriously inspiring. You are playing your part sir. The more people who watch these videos, the more people will be inspired to help change the world for the better. Thank you

Your video style is incredible, just watched the Leonardo da Vinci one before this and wow! It was the best one I have found about him and so far this one is looking great too. I just wanted to let you know that I really look forward to seeing you make more of these, I understand it will take while to make new ones, but it will be worth the wait. Hopefully one day you can get more recognition or even earn from this, because really, you have the talent for this! You have my support as someone always excited to gain new knowledge :)
Your kind words mean a great deal to me. it's so nice to know people find value in my work. Thank you! I have begun work on the next video, it probably won't be uploaded for a few months I'm afraid. Thanks again for watching!
Thank you so much for watching! I'm working on the next video, but they take a long time to create and I currently can only work on them in my spare time.
@@PeopleWhoChangedtheWorld I really loved the Da Vinci video of course. Other persons i can think of would be: Nichola Tesla, Francisco de Goya, Jordan Peterson, Ghandi, Dalai Lama, Marie Curie, Steve Jobs, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, Einstein and also maybe the ancient philosophers or Sigmund Freud. Thanks for making high quality content! Greetings from switzerland
I have just discovered this channel. I heard about Alexander Fleming at school but I wanted to check my knowledge, because another channel I was watching was talking about it. I was struck by the fact it took so long for people to take notice of him. the medical profession are always like that... They did the same to poor Doctor phillip Sommelwies who is now seen as the man who saved the lives of countless mothers suffering from childbed fever and spent his life trying to convince doctors to 'WASH THIER HANDS'. After examining dead bodies and going straight to the ward to examin women about to give birth, they couldn't see it was causing the illness. 😢 Only after his death was he given fame for his great work🎉❤🎉.@@PeopleWhoChangedtheWorld
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it! These videos take months to create, but I will endeavour to post most often. I've already started work on the next video. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
AAAAAH ! BLESS HIM R.I.P. SIR ALEXANDER FLEMING. I SWEAR BY PENICILLIN IT ALWAYS HELPED ME & MY FAMILY. AND HUMANITY ALL AROUND THE WORLD. THANKS ! FROM, U.K. (2023).
Referring to my reaction regarding your TH-cam video of Da Vinci, please dive into the world of Christiaan Huygens. In English speaking countries Huygens is not very known , probably because of his relation with Newton. Huygens and Newton were quarreling about the essence of light. Huygens developed the wave length theory of light, while Newtons view on light was based on dualism. Huygens proved to be right. Huygens was not only an inventor (a.o. the pendulum, steam machine etc), but also wrote the first science fiction stories, was instrumental for the development of the present chip industry, the development of MRI and rontgen machine and echoscopie etc, etc. The reason why The Netherlands is still one of the world leaders in the afore mentioned industries is because Huygens view and theory on wave length is still considered fundamental for basic research of physics in The Netherlands.
Thank you so much for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Great suggestions for future videos. I think the next video I create will be on Marie Curie
Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it! Those are great suggestions, and I definitely plan on making videos on all those people in the future.
@@PeopleWhoChangedtheWorld Those suggestions by Parveen are great, but you can also consider Michael Faraday, discovery of man made dyes, Oppenheimer discovery of atomic metals, Fourdrenier machine, Carl Benz, Wright Brothers, discovery of electronic components, chemical metallurgical processes to make aluminium, magnesium, and other metal non-metals.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?
This is a mythological narrative. The research workers in the laboratories where Fleming was the Professor at the time recognised the significance of what was happening on the petri dish that was later produced in sufficient quantity as a drug. Fleming was well know in social circles for the treatment of Syphilis at the time and took the credit for this discovery. Similarly l believe a lot of things attributed to Leonardo were redrawn from a notebook left by a Chinese delegation to Italy. Again how the notebook came into his hands or whether it was taken and not returned or presented to the ltalians or Chuch at that time is not clear. However, increasingly fictitious narrative seems to be just part of our desire to create a good story as we forget the facts.
The intro is so horrible with loud intrusive music that we were tempted to stop viewing! Did an adult review this video prior to release? Best of luck!
It's Medical Research COUNCIL, not Club. And there is no such thing as "Straphylococcus." There's Staphylococcus and Streptococcus, but not Straphylococcus.
Thanks for pointing that out. Grammar is not one of my strong points. I'm always trying to improve, so I appreciate you taking the time to let me know.
@@PeopleWhoChangedtheWorld You are quite welcome. For your knowledge, the helping verb is what causes the change, "has". (He began/He has begun). Same for swam/swum (a very rare conjugation) and for many others. For the record, that is a common mistake. Often the "has" can be contracted. (It's begun=it has begun), but I believe I can say "begun" is never used without "has".
