    Gabriele, There are many times when watching your projects I say to myself "Stop now, that's a good enough job!" but you keep going and do an even better job! I guess you can't hear me saying "Good enough!" lol I do agree with others who say you are making your older boat BETTER than new! Good Job! Scott W

      Gabriele, I noticed one time you said the ED instead of d(a). But I heard "ed" said correctly one or more times! Good Job! But there still is a time when you can say Glue Ed. That's when you are about to glue your friend Edward to something. As in - "I will now glue Ed to the deck of my boat since he is afraid of falling overboard." : - ) Scott W

    Gabriele again an amazing job on your boat! You are so fortunate to have the assistance of your very talented friends to help you with so many of the small details. Of course your choices to have everything done to such a high standard are amazing. I do not think any boat factory would take the time and effort to cut out the sound insulation and to place Corian blocks for spacers to mount the water heater. So your boat will be better than a new one from any factory when finished!

    Making the fiddles for the cockpit box was amazing. I think I could do that too. It would require about 100 feet of prime teak to allow for all of my mistakes and six days labor. Two of those days would be spent in therapy trying to understand why I didn’t just fly to Italy and have your friends do it for me. Sweet angle cutting. Pretty.

      @@sea4see So is that hot water heater a tank that holds hot water or does it provide hot water on demand? Tankless? I realize that is a tank but really don't know much about the tankless options that seem to be more popular in Europe not so much here in the states.

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      David the water heater has 20 litervtoy. An warn by electric of marine supply or by engine is a hot reserve that you mix with the cold water of the main tank is a close circuit

    I thought that you might be interested in the episode of RAN Sailing #187.....at the Dusseldorf boat show. Part of the video is touring of some of the Hallberg Rassy models and a bit of conversation with Mr. Rassy. These are beautiful boats, as is the case of Elios and your refit. Attention to the small and large details is gratifying to see.....

    Thanks for the great video! Couple questions: What is the point of scratching thread of hose nipple?
    I can see that thru hulls for cockpit drains are located in engine room but where the hoses from deck drains are leading? Does they have own thru hulls?

    • @sea4see
      @sea4see  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Heikki, the little scratch of threads avoid the hemp fiber to turn when you turn the fitting and it stay in place, yes the cockpits drain has their own seacock inside engine room 1-1/4 size with no stick Guidi valve.
