Another very awesome bid Simon, that was my very first helmet I got. I always loved the fleet trooper's so I got everything I needed for the costume and went one of our toy shows. I got lot's of compliments from the 501st which I later joined. One thing that is an ongoing thing is the color some say it's white others say grey, I'm on the grey side. Which looking at the movie helmet and talking to the owner who sent me a good photo I got mine color matched. But really who cares unless your wanting to go 100% screen accurate, I would put a photo of mine up but I don't know how, the site I got mine from did an awesome job, I will post the company with your permission. The only difference between ours is the chinstrap, antenna and mine has a tinted visor not sure if yours is. I do like this persons props though do you have a link for him.
Wolvie yes you have my permission. All interest from star wars fans and of course the 501st is most welcome. I did not know there was a screen accurate colour issue? You learn something new every day, literally. The first helmet you got? That's quite a specialist bucket for a first buy😁 as to the link I hopefully included it in the description, if not here it is swmovieprops@gmail.com many thanks for watching & for your continued interest in my channel, MTFBWU Simon
Thanks I like to ask before I just post links studiocreations.com/howto/rebelfleettrooper/main.html. When I first heard this issue of color I thought did these people even see the movie it's clear as day lol, or it's my being color impaired that makes it stand out. But if you look at the trooper next to the wall and stormtroopers you can really tell. It also helped talking to the owner of one. I enjoy collecting helmets as well I have 5 at the moment 2 are signed , I seen one fan make the trooper helmet from a ww2 US navy talker helmet that was very cool but I can bet heavy as well. It's cool knowing other collector's of Star Wars, my wife gave up trying to keep my collection banned to one room lol. Take care Larry
I’m looking to create/buy a helmet for a rebel honor guard costume so I can join the 501st. I met Albin Johnson (the founder) yesterday and it really inspired me. Had a fantastic talk with him and the 501st guys
SwampFox22101 awesome I have a Fleet Trooper one myself, I am currently working on my 181st Tie Pilot. As a good guy you will be with our sister group the Rebel Legion, I will post a link. Have you seen ww2 Denmark helmet
Yes, it's very similar to the standard WW2 German one I think
Simon Farrell no I mean Denmark..danish ww2 helmet
@@xananymous431 aah, I've just had a look on Pinterest, yep I see what you mean, very similar in shape, thanks for the info, more vids soon hopefully
Does that helmet fit on a head because I’m thinking of buying one
Yes mate, full 1:1 scale, padded and Wearable with an adjustable chin strap. Available from David starwarsmovieprops 👍
Does the visor move?
Unfortunately not, but I think this was the case with the original props, any honour/temple guards would have had a different build I guess
