Phlinger you need to tame a Gigantoraptor. It's a game changer for breeding mutated dinos, imprinting your baby dino, and it will be very good as mount travel on Aberration map.
I'm still trying to figure out how it is a game changer for mutations if it doesn't increase the chance of a mutation but rather a higher chance to get the stat that the feather says. Am I missing something?
@@bladebrown1008 No, you are understanding it properly. you still need to get the mutations natually as you normally would, but once you get them, the Gigantoraptor feathers increase the likely hood of that mutation getting passed on.
FYI a raptor can fit through all the choke points, and climb/jump up the cliff on the left side from the pool at the bottom near the ruins to the artifact tunnel without having to do any swimming. Quick and fast runs if you need to grab it.
Thanks for the vid, it was very helpful! I skipped the water tunnels and went straight for the artifact. I also managed to jump through the second choke point on my bary in and out :)

8:35 The cold resist "didn't update" because it is only when underwater for the scuba leggings. By the way, the fur armor is useless for cold resist when in water.
Fur doesn’t add cold resist in water. That’s what the dossier says. Or the tooltip, can’t remember. Or so I always assumed. Weird that you, of all people, should recommand using fur in water! Was I wrong all this time ? Plus the scuba leggings only add cold resist when IN water, not out of it. That’s prolly why the cold resist level did not update. Anyways, I do this cave with an otter with high melee damage.
Just brings guns and bullets. It's so boring watching these tube losers riding dinosaurs and letting them do all the fighting/playing for them. Like that's cool, I understand if you can't do anything on your own but like, might as well just use admin commands to spawn in whatever you want.
Pretty sure riding dinos and letting them do all the fighting while YOU play them is kind of the point of the entire game. If that’s not your jam, then go watch some Call of Duty vids or something.

I think the safest method involves taking three baryonyx and leaving them at strategic locations to be available on your way back out

If you're on a public server, would it be ok to make a temporary respawn shack that you just take down when you're done with the cave?
If people haven't built near it you could. But i just use sleeping bags.
