I've noticed on a couple different sites that Galaxy barrels will dip & then get up to stupid prices, then dip & repeat over the last few months. I've had my eyes on these for a bit...
I checked my order form this morning and I paid $57. So the $53 I quoted in this video was with the discount I used. Now I look today and the darts are $68!!! 🤷♂️

This was a no-brainer. Any darts producer who'd have paid attention to the forums and social media knew there is a market for smooth darts. Now let's see if anyone makes a golden set, or perhaps some other shapes.
Cool scoop on the Peter Wright smooth barrels, I had no idea those existed (though I suppose I should have with all his models!) 😂These look outstanding, 6.2mm smooth barrel darts WITH a good grip is unreal. Thanks for the review!
Cheers Zolto! I've always found it odd that RD never continued to make his smooth darts. They were on the market for a short time then vanished. They still make all his other sets though. 🤷♂️
Think the Red/Black combo looks really good but think the Gold/Black would look equally good. Currently out of stock but I will keep an eye out for when they’re available again. Barrels a little longer than I usually like but I could always use shorter stems. Great stuff WWD👍🏻

I've been thinking about getting some smooth barrels for a while and after this review I think I'll give these a try the next time I order Dartscorner. I really like your attention to the sound. The satisfying sound of darts hitting board, darts hitting darts and flights hitting flights is a big part of why I like darts.

Hey WWD another great video, I use 25g poseidons they also come in 22/23g their pretty grippy as I prefer a dart that has a grip and overall the feel of the dart is always the same took a gamble was worth it, anyway keep up the the good content look forward to more in the future 👍🏻👍🏻

Allready 3 weeks and still waiting, I expect them next week Tuesday or Wednesday. I can’t wait to try them out. The barrel looks really nice.
Belgium, but it is belgium that takes a long time. Its especially in belgium that it took a long time. 7 days they were in customs. But, they finally arrived today. Can’t wait to throw them after work.
Just had an hour of throwing practice with my new black abyss darts and they don’t feel slippery at all. I love the feel off them and indeed a 10/10 if you love smooth barrels. Thx for the review, i maybe switch my robin’s for these ones as match darts
Loving these! The black coating on then is definitely showing wear though. Not sure if it's going to affect the grip yet. Also curious if you have tried the unicorn dum dum darts. A local let me throw his and I thought it was a gimmick but I loved them and instantly bought a set!
Have you done a video on the darts you use? If not I'd love to see a review video on the darts you use or would use if you had the biggest game of your life tomorrow!
At this point I'm not totally sure. The one major negative about running this channel is that when you try so many different darts none of them really feel like your match darts. If I had to pick a set it would be my customised One80 Reload

They could be. My hands aren't the greatest. All beat up from the gym but these darts offer quite a bit of grip for me. It's just one of those things ya have to try.
Have you tried the atomized Ted Hankey smooths? I know you liked the regular hankey’s. The atomized barrels might have a similar grip to these coated ones.
what can I do, when i dont get the Point out with my repointer? I bought extra new designa spare parts for the designa Repointer and all is tight and i also pressed the Repointer tight, so that i can spin with no problems and it does not get out. I already made maximum preassure by using 2 people using tongs and still nothing gets Out. These are designa razor grip black 23g darts. I also think manufactors press the points harder in than before 1 year
The ASN darts had a hard, shiny coating. A little bit slippery compared to these ones. They were also a bit fatter. I like the overall shape of these ones a lot more.
You also like a longer darts. Did you know they are already sold out at dartscorner? And why didn't you bought them direct from galaxy? They are located in the USA right?

Interesting to see how long the coating lasts, going to look terrible once it goes, more so, as they are smooth.
That's the problem with most coated darts. They look great first thing out of the package. A few months later... not so much
Well I know what my next set is. Now to decide what points to put on them.
They look very similar to Ted Hankey darts from years back. Maybe hankeys were a bit more tapered towards the stem though
I think the condor Kim Huybrechts make it even more better

Probably not great. No black coating holds up well that I know of.
Unfortunately they don't do them in 24g 😢
It is a really good looking dart, however, I’m annoyed at the transition from barrel to stem. Doesn’t look a clean transition to me. #NoLipGang

I doubled checked my order form. I paid $45 for them with the discount. Here in the USA they sell for $70. That's why I buy from the UK
