Dein “broken accent” ist so krass entspannend - lieb ich 🥰🤌🏻
Regarding "Verwarnen": It doesn't really have an English equivalent, it means "to warn" but it specifically refers to a "two strikes" situations. Warning without punishment = verwarnen, 2nd time would get you punished. "Vorwarnen" on the other hand means to warn someone in the sense of tipping them off (like, telling them about terrible traffic in advance for example).
Hi! First of all, the video is great and your German is getting better!💕
Concerning your verwarnen and warnen vor problem, I'll try to explain it :) 24:30
verwarnen is mostly used as "don't do that again" (police etc.) -> "Ich lasse dich mit einer Verwarnung gehen" - "I'm letting you go with a warning"
warnen vor is "to warn" -> "Ich warne dich vor ihm" - "I warn you about him"
Hope this helps!!
Love your videos! So calming ❤
21:53 Yes you are! Schieds- and Scheidung are etymologically similar; Richter and Anwalt are semantically very close. Assuming "Schiedsrichter" is something like "divorce lawyer" was a perfectly fine educated guess
Soft spoken ❤ Tolles Video! Schön, siehst du aus ☺️
I definitely need more of this .. soft spoken english
Tolles Video ! 😊
Wer ist zurück richtig: Die schönste und entspannenste Stimme aller Zeiten...❤
As a fan of your work, I think OhCleo would be a great fit for your channel. Their audio content is well-produced and engaging, and it's sure to keep your viewers coming back for more
Much love from Sweden ❤
Schied- from Schiedsrichter (referee) and Scheid- from Scheidungsanwalt (divorce lawyer) actually have the same root.
It's from "scheiden" which means "to separate". A "Schiedsrichter" is someone who separates right from wrong, a "Scheidung" (divorce) is two married people splitting up. That root is also found in "Entscheidung" (the ent- is not a negation here but an emphasis) = decision, i.e. separating the option that you take from those that you don't, it's also found in "Ausscheidung" = excrement, i.e. something that gets separated from your body; and it's found in "Scheide" = vagina, because it's through which a baby is physically separated from the mother's body.
Very great video ❤❤❤

I'd wish I had been better at studying German in school because here in Denmark we learn it in "Highschool" 😅 but alot of us don't take it seriously at that age😶🥲
that’s ok because that’s exactly how it was for me and French 😅 studied 4 years but can’t remember anything 🥹
@@leiselilaasmr Hopefully of you return to the language it comes quite easy back🙏🙏
