Listening to that dispatch call gave me so much anxiety they over talk you and they don’t listen one of them denied my PC to get food and said if I left they would write me up smh I’m now with Danny Herman trucking much better

Dropped the truck in the Bakersfield yard. They said the same thing. So I left professionally. Detailed the truck. Drove it to Rancho, typed a resignation letter which I provided to hireright, my lawyer, and legend. Made hireright and transforce aware of the resignation prior to returning the truck.Recorded and took photos of me dropping the truck off. No issues on my DAC. I did get my last check. Then I hear they laid off 200-300 employees a couple weeks ago. They have contracted freight though!? They lost some good drivers because of their arrogance.
Dude I was only there for 3 weeks, they tried to make me drive on a tire that was off the bead to make 2 pickups, one in west valley and another in salt lake, I was in West Jordan, they told me they’d fix it after I was like nope I’m not driving this trailer, told them I was done after this load, that company is a joke man, glad you’re out of there

I miss my DM David! He was so knowledgeable, calm, always a cheerful attitude, made sure to mark my requests in the calendar and follow up and most importantly he didn't micromanage wasn't worried stressed out and neurotic like some other ones (I won't name) which made my job soooo much easier. Those were good days. He was hands down my favorite dm in ALL my driving career. When he left it was all downhill 😔
I will say this I’ve been with Legend for 3 months now. My issue is dispatcher never answers the phone. Calls me on my hometime to do a local load cause drivers can’t get the pick up on time. Trailers all need to be fixed. Pay me my local run when you tell me it pays 75 dollars. Not sure what’s in it for me here in the next couple months. I have never been paid detention pay here. They tell me they approved of it but never shows up on my stubs. Money is great for me here but it’s really stressful when it gets down to DMs

If any company tries to get you to do anything illegal, you have to call Saftey right away don’t rely on your DM for everything. Always getting names of everyone cover your back even recording phone calls and screen shots if need be and always announce this phone call is being recorded, If it gets really bad only communicate on the QUALCOMM tablet, etc.
Man im going to legend on this Monday coming they gonna have me on a dedicated target account from south ca to north with flex pay ima test it out for month or two to see how it goes

Call the labor board there’s only two things that can be deducted from from any employees check in any state in this country without out your authorization one is taxes and two is a court order deduction like child support. Other than that it’s illegal they will get penalized every day from the time you turn the truck in till the time you have a hearing just FYI good luck
I was interested in joining Legend a couple of years ago, but I read all the bad reviews and outsourced most office jobs to India and I lost interest. Also that woman in safety showed more professionalism than the other assholes you mentioned.

They won't let you use sick leave Tell you to drive on flat tires no matter how far to a repair facility Say it's non forced dispatch but threaten you with no loads if you refuse You won't get any of the bonuses they promise Will say they give you plenty of time to deliver a load but always give you loads with delivery times that don't allow for any unforseen circumstances, then blame you for it being late They harass you when off the clock Will lose your bols you upload and then say their not paying you for the load They charge you a dollar per gallon of fuel if you fuel out of network Won't actually pay for detention or layover when promised To name a few.
I worked there for about 5 months. Complete shit show. Had 4 dispatchers in 5 months. Micro managed you. Shitty trailers. Could not understand half the people on the phone. They wanted me to park in Phoenix and drive my personal vehicle 3.5 hours each way during my time off. I had paid secure parking for the truck.
