Great walkthrough of these tools! I especially liked the tip of looking into see how much data Jungle Scout is working with for a particular listing. Even if the projections of monthly revenue end up being accurate, it's still important to know that they are based on limited data. Great video!

Thanks for the video, but taking this toy you discuss, I am concerned with the total lead time it would take to find a distributor on alibaba, wait for it to be shipped to me, package it up and then get it to Amazon FBA. Realistically, what should I expect from doing the jungle scout research to actually having it listed on Amazon for sale and how do I take that into account when doing research.

For products that you are selling short term, and you're not branding them... do you add the product to existing listings?
If not, what info do you enter where it asks you for the brand name?
Thanks! Yes, I'll sell them on existing listings. If a product already has a brand, you'll be required to enter that brand name in the vital information section.
@@DebtToDollars Hi Josh! I'm just now getting into the Amazon FBA business and am planning to go the private label route (sourcing from Alibaba, etc). Want to make sure I'm understanding the above correctly - so if I find an identical product on say Alibaba and leave it as is (no customization), I am able to add it to an existing product page of another FBA seller vs creating my own page?
How often do you change the product? Also, what do you do if the trend dies out by the time the item arrives to the warehouse from supplier, delivery from china can take up to a month, no?

Hey Josh, I love your videos. I’ve learned so much! Quick question, I followed all of the search criteria in this video and I’m coming up with “no niches found”. Any advice?
Thanks! The data will change day by day possibly limiting your search results. However, if it shows that no niches found then there's likely an issue. Try resetting the filters and doing the search again. Otherwise, you may want to contact JS support.
Another thing to try is to expand your seasonality search to "very low - medium." I've noticed some issues with the seasonality causing errors. Hope this helps!

If you are doing wholesale then you don't need to check patent
If you are going to do private label then you have to check patent

I use the professional plan. I would recommend the monthly suite for your scenario
Why monthly vs yearly ? Just curious
@@taalorlangerhans2657 just because you buy annually. If you buy all your products at one time in the year, then there's no reason to have a yearly subscription for product research. It's your call!

Just one question , when I first list my product on Amazon just simply insert my product ID and product name , Amazon pump up an error message " Your are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list." Do you know what's happened and how to solve this issue ? Thanks.
Yes, this is a common issue. Did you buy your barcodes from a third party or GS1.org?
@@DebtToDollars I bought the barcode from barcode mania, that's why I feel so strange. What can I do?
It’s been hit or miss lately with barcodes mania. The most credible way is to purchase directly from GS1.org for $30 or apply for a GTIN exemption. Otherwise, you can reach out to seller support for more details on what’s causing the error.
@@DebtToDollars thanks Josh, in case if I apply for a GTIN exemption , it mean to say I don't need to print out any UPC label and send my stock straight away to Amazon Warehouse ? Anything I need special attention on ?
How do I obtain a Children’s Product Certificate?
I would follow your process, but I got AMZ scout instead of Jungle Scout cause I hear it's a little better than Jungle Scout, is this true?
Try it out and let us know. I prefer JS since the data is more reliable in my opinion

Hi, can i sell similar trademarked products on amazon, with different description and images but, the product will have similar colors to the trademarked sellers product. I found a specific color variant of the product that i want to sell but i'm holding back because no one else is selling that similar product as well as the color of the product. If i try to sell that product will i get a request to remove it off my listing?
The brand name that sells the product is TeeTurtle, are they a well known brand to anyone or yourself because if they are then that gives me the imagine that they must be trademarked and I won’t be able to sell similar products to them. All I’m looking to know is if I can sell similar looking products to them with a different brand name. Thank you.

How many of a product do you normally order to sell?
It depends on your budget and the suppliers price. For beginners, I recommend starting out with 50-100 units and then increasing your inventory each month once you begin to see sales increase
