To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. Love the sound of the double bass!
Me too💖
Amazing teacher, and he has a feel for the music, the way he uses the vibrato. I can't play double bass, but I play fretless bass
Ob auf Deutsch oder English, einfach fantastisch! Besten dank, keep on playing!
What a good teacher
I feel exactly the oposite of phrasing... the apoggiature feel part of tension, this is why it's more important... Violins get sometimes a different way of bowing to do this.
Violins do down-up, down-up, up-down for the opening phrase, which is what I do
Fantastic Profesor
thank you
Perfect ~Next💯
Ever time perfect!... next!

Good lesson!!
In a nutshell, be musical. Don't just be a bass player.
