Music of my childhood. My mum had a CD disc and always turn it on for me before sleep. I was laying in my bed, listen to this song with close eyes and dreaming about exploring the world. Mom passed away. But with this song I return to that sweetest moment of my safe childhood
This is in its own class. When I was listening Eurovision that day I said "this is the winner" before even listening the rest of them, and nothing in that year did come even close to this.

This is by far the best eurovision song ever. And I'm not saying this because I am a norwegian. But this is just so...magical. Just as a song alone, but also the fact that it is from a time where the songs were supposed to portray the country it represented somehow too. Which they have in both the style of song (Norway being a country of mysteries and fairytales and deep forests) but also the choice of instruments. Still gives me goose bumps after all these years. And it still moves me. A masterpiece indeed. ♡
Personally, I try to disassociate this sublime work of brilliance with the political debacle that hides behind the guise of Eurovision... But glad it was able to expose this amazing duo to the rest of Europe. Marvellous Music, Wonderful Words, Superbly sung 👍👍👍

One day, while I was asleep, there was a good angel in my dream and she was singing this song ... just like in the clip, she wore whites. Whatever happened, I woke up and realized that this song was open on MTV. I guess my mother couldn't stop to wake me up and decided to play a music on the TV. I still cannot forget the beautiful feelings this song has for me.
I do too!! Nice to know I'm not the only one out there who does that! There's different recorded versions of the song that are all a little different. And my favorite one is the one with the clouds thumbnail uploaded 12 years ago. I know they made a new modernized version of it recently, but it's got NONE of the magic that these older ones do. Which is representative of most new music these days I think.
