Nice video! I'd like to think the German ETK is equivalent to BMW, and Cherrier could be Citroën or Peugeot. As I am not American, I find it harder to identify which cars the US brands correspond to.
@@turbo_marc oh, true. The grand marshall and d series resemble the crown vic and the f series pickups more than anything. Then bruckell would more or less be Dodge.

We really need some more european content. I never really understood why the devs focused so heavely on american cars/maps, even though most of the developers are located in the main quarter in Bremen, Germany.
I suspect that it’s due to the old American cars performing rather poorly in crash tests and since BeamNG started off as a sim focusing on crash physics these cars would be perfect for them to demonstrate their soft body physics. My other guesses are 1. they are big and can better reflect the damage done, 2. Maybe they were influenced by Hollywood films and car chases , and not only Hollywood, I remember a lot of budget movies/TV series around the 2000s (Including European ones) would use old American cars as props since they are cheap and looked “executive”. If the villain is driving a mediocre old Chrysler, you know that he will most definitely crash. Just a wild guess.
@@thegentlegrafter1699 Could be, but they still add way more american content than anything else these days.
