Thanks for the views, I'm so happy you love FMA as much as I do. Please let me know if you have a scene upload request from either amazing series. It will take me a bit to get to as I work a lot but I will keep them in mind as I do my annual rewatches of both shows. 🩷
“If I give my whole life to revenge now, everything Scar said, he’s life.. would be meaningless..” They never really addressed it, but it shows how much Ed and Al both appreciate what Scar did for them in the end. Saved Alphonse from certain while simultaneously giving them both the Philosophers Stone in order to get their bodies back.. such a great character!
The saddest thing is that this was the last moment between Edward and Winry in the anime (except in the movie which is the true ending where they meet) but they end up not getting together. Thank God they are together in the original story and had children, my favorite anime couple! ❤ Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
personally found it to be the better show, specially the first half. The villain and humonculus is also better done. Taking nothing away from brotherhood it was amazing on its own right but the og fma was more to my liking.
It has a more complex, personal, dramatic, and smaller scale route, whereas the original author’s own story from the manga just simply has a shonen, linear and action-oriented approach. Personally, I prefer Bones’ work from the original anime adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist. So I would say give a shot.
@@kaziayon6507IMO, it’s way better than Brotherhood. People only like Brotherhood because it completely feeds their expectations like any other typically and because it’s what the original author intended even though the 2003 version from Bones finished long before the manga itself did. Yet, people who love Brotherhood still find any excuses to downgrade and nitpick the 2003 series sadly.
@@mccrillisnsiahNo. People like Brotherhood because of the story. It's that simple. It's not regarded as one of, if not _the_ best, anime of all time because it "feeds their expectations like any other typically(?)"
@@rockercyborg6965 I hear ya, I would love a *decent* FMA live action for once ngl...or anything. The series is amazing but it's like everything after it has sucked. :(
@@rockercyborg6965 AGREED. What I really wish they'd do is revisit Shamballah and make it how it was originally intended. There was so much good potential content they had to cut to squeeze into a single movie. As for Brotherhood I was kind of satisfied with how they wrapped it up. But I'm just greedy and want more of my fav series lol
@@Iloveaespa980 you fell down the rabbit hole🤣 The manga is also good. There are numerous little scenes that are cut from brotherhood especially the humorous ones.
Now that I started doing envy fanart, Ed with that color of hair looks more like envy's brother. I must have seen this vid in a dark room with decreased phone brightness if I thought that hair color was black like howl's. 😅😂🤣🤣😆🥰😘
The. OP is making a reference to Howl from Howl's Moving Castle. Howl's hair magically changed color depending on what state of mind he was in. Blonde in a g mood, black in a bad mood.
You’re not weird at all for liking 2003 FMA…I personally like it way better than Brotherhood as I feel the story that Bones came up with in 2003 is so much more complex and groundbreaking than anything the original author herself intended. Also, the ending is way better and fits in with all of the messages the entire show tried to convey from the beginning if you ignore the sequel movie, Conqueror of Shamballa.

Never caught it before, but its a greenishblack color, kinda like Envy's hair.
This might've been foreshadowing
*Spoilers?* Just like his big brother :)
The fact that Ed and Envy are both Hohenheim's sons makes them look more alike

that face ed was making was like, "winry's got this for the sake of his arm, his leg, and his brother's body".
Wow, Edward here looks amazing!
the dark hair is certainly interesting!
The character designer for the 2003 series freaking cooked

Eu trato FMA 2003 como história paralela, como a história de outro universo
@@AEoe0248 E de fato é um universo alternativo, já que não segue totalmente a história original

This is the last time Ed had seen Winry in this continuity, isn't it?
The movie
I really should watch the original FMA at some point, it always looks very competent and well written for the most part.

If you're a fan of FMA, I definitely recommend it. Both series are amazing in their own ways.
Man I wish this series would get a remake. Update it with Brotherhood animation style and fix some of the mistakes.
Personally like the original visuals and animation better, but to each their own…
Though I much prefer Brotherhood and it’s ending better, this version was certainly an interesting story on its own. I’m all for more FMA content!
That would be completely pointless.
This was a do or die type of mission those Elric brothers were involved in.
Thanks for the upload
any time ^_^ lmk if have requests

I don't think it matters at this point, 20 years later. 🩷

Why is it whenever i decide to watch an anime TH-cam relentlessly starts throwing spoilers at me lol. And wow this video is pretty recent.
aw I'm sorry for the spoiler! if it helps it's super small :(
yeah i rewatch FMA and FMAB annually, but only recently decided to upload scenes i like

Not bad with the change of hair
Well...i didnt know that scene was...ermm excisted...even..cant never imagime Ed with Black hair 😂🎉🎉🎉
Awwww ik braid it for you 😍😍😍😍🥰🥰❤

wft i saw fullmethal alchemist brotherhood and the classic and dont remember this scene
This was 2003 ep 45
Same, but ive never rewatched the original since the FMAB continuity is so much more thought out and complete than FMA 2003
Now we see the 'Howl' of Fullmetal Alchemist (IDK if it's Brotherhood or not)
Early 2000’s and English dub,it’s classic/regular/OG Fullmetal Alchemist. Even if it was Brotherhood,it would be Japanese dub still

OG FMA Series Envy callback with that green hair?
Am i one of the weird ones that likes this version? Like the ending is way different and not my favorite... But i somehow like this one too
