I feel that this should have been the step between battery operated and rechargeable flashlights. Unless you're at home, who has AAAs laying around. Also, why the micro usb? 😅

I've got rechargeable AAAs.. micro chargers are cheaper too.
Swapping a battery is faster than waiting 3 hrs for it to charge.
