Do you think re-purposing old pantyhose to make the rosettes would be a good idea? I guess you would have to use regular craft glue, not hot glue, to prevent melting.

You don't want to wash hot glue in hot water because the glue will melt, but you could make the flower by stitching it with a needle and thread rather than use hot glue and then you can wash it in hot water. Or use another type of glue that can be washed in hot water.

I had this on a garment, (jacket) it was loosely hand stiched on the side, the dry-cleaners told me you have to take it off before cleaning, some pin it on with safety pins. Its very pretty but I do not think its ideal for wash and wear. Have you tried stiching it on a garment while turning, I think it could work. Good luck- I am from Austria

@xxbathushaxx It would look great! I wouldn't want to sleep on it or wash it a lot, though. I'd probably just make sure it was purely decorative.
