A fine modernization of a nostalgic piece of equipment. Also, thank you for previewing the safety equipment you planned to use during the painting process. It's a small, yet detrimental detail that a lot of TH-camrs leave out of their videos.
You just gave me an awesome idea on how to convert my old outdoor Nutone intercom system into outdoor Bluetooth speakers. Just gotta figure out how to power the speaker off the low voltage system and how to pair two speakers together. 🤔
I was looking at creating a flash movie night locally. With an hours notice say the time and location for a free drive in night on as many social media sites as possible. Get successful at it people could pick movies for the next show. It's a local thing so should be able to get away with it. We do not have a movie theater and rains here a lot. Run a projector from an inverter and batteries played on a wall at random remote places in town and play a double feature. All I needed was a popcorn maker, a few types of pop and juice. The audio I planned to do with an FM transmitter that only has a 1000 foot range. Cars use their own sound systems tuned to an FM band. Much better sound than I can provide. Haven't been able to afford a projector yet.
I'm not that old, but I am old enough to remember going to the drive-in theaters with my parents. The sound wasn't great, the picture quality often terrible (washed out by the headlights of incoming late arrivals), but it was magic nonetheless. Great work on this conversion.
Love the brand new yet retro look and high quality sound. Great work!
Glad you like it!

That's one of the reasons I created this channel was to share ideas so people would repair, rebuild and restore. Good Luck
