I had to look him up in interviews after seeing his episode in Dahmer, just to see him alive and well. This one really shook me. I can’t imagine what the real guy went through. It’s so heartbreaking. You’re forever missed.
His performance in that episode of Dahmer was incredible. That is acting at the very highest level. Within minutes of that episode starting, I began to cry. It really surprised me! I knew what was going to happen and it just hit something deep in me. First time in a long, long time. I don’t get into the true crime stuff at all. Murder porn. But for whatever reason I began watching the Netflix series. I don’t feel great about watching it either, but the acting is so good all around, that it’s impossible to stop now that I’ve started. All these events transpired when I was like between the ages of 8 and 11. I just remember hearing that some guy was eating people. And since then, obviously Jeffrey Dahmer has become a household name. But I always thought it was like 3 or 4 victims and it was simply that he was eating them that made it so infamous. Never realized how many lives he sniffed out, stole from their families. This episode did such an amazing job of conveying that. I understand how a man would want to beat him to death in prison for what he did. But I really wish he was still in there, rotting away, perhaps coming to terms with the reality of what he did and the effects it has had on these poor people. I wish they had the chance to know he was suffering. But his life ended and their suffering continues. And I, as a viewer, have to reconcile my small part in prolonging that suffering as a result of this series’ immense popularity. As shallow as it is to write on a TH-cam comments section, I really do hope those families are able to find some measure of peace. I feel so terribly for them.

I agree. We all feel the same way. Like, what kind of magic did they use in this movie to have me sitting watching it and all in my feelings.
