The fact that they make mistakes like not realizing they don't have enough range and being told they can't do what they wanted is the most impressive thing to me so far.
It'sl alludes to in the sescription, but this isn't AI playing off of AI. It's AI voiceover and AI imagery, but human written dialogue and scripting. It's less impressive from an AI standpoint, but that doesn't make the story/writing any less impressive.
My theory is he is playing those fights either himself or with other people and only some dice are being buffed or nerfed for the sake of the story. If you think about it, that's a magnificent way to tell a story because at any point anybody can die. I honestly hope I am correct on that one because that's such a good way to create tension and make you wonder if one of them is gonna die next. (Tho I think tronald might be immune to death due to plot reasons, or he has been given a class that's incredibly hard to kill so it's unlikely he's gonna die)
This story has been some of the best content to come from A.I. videos. Keep up the amazing work! I'm loving the content! I still remember when their journey first stated. I never imagined it'd be this amazing!
I am so amazed every time I sink into these episodes at just how great the AI voicing are. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like the timing of the dialoque beats and emotional inflections keep getting better and better and better. So good, man.
That was fucking Epic!!!! I only wish saxxy would've grabbed the Bosses Armor to try to Apply & Smith The Metal to his Suit Thus Improving it to Magical Armor with a Higher AC.

Wow that battle more intense than I expected! Raargh was an absolute monster definitely deserves that wicked sword that hopefully won’t turn him into a necrotic demon… trondald and saxxy played a crucial role in assisting Raargh to slay that abomination. Sad to see Alexandru go down without showcasing much. But damn I didn’t see expect Lunaria to sacrifice her most beloved possession to save Alexandru despite them having a revival scroll. I would like to see their relationship elevate from that. I hope we will soon have another epic session, I can’t wait!
Great video and run guys. Only thing that would have made that one better is if Raah had failed his constitution check and nearly died on that chicken bone.
Man what an intense fight. Felt bad for Alexandrew having his whole strat blasted, but its nice to see the party come toguther and give him a seccond chance. Hope it leaves a good impact.
Goddammit, this was such an amazing episode! Raarh getting the final blow literally brought me to tears. I thought it was all over. I can’t believe the whole squad managed to make it through. Alexandrew really had me worried for a while there! The party seriously deserves a level up after all of that. I know the magic items are the big intended reward, but I feel like such a masterful display of magical prowess, might, and damn good roleplaying really goes above and beyond. You really design some terrifying monsters.
Excellent episode, I love all the characters in this campaign, that was an epic battle! For a moment there, I thought that we were going to lose Anlexandrew and he would never get to fulfil his promise or get to see his father again. Everyone played a epic part, tronald the cheese master, and rawrgh with his destructive attacks, saxy with his intelligent moves, elriana with her heals and alexandrew with his making it all feel deadly and meaningful.
Same, I looked for that in a past battle to see how close they were to victory snd was disappointed that it wasn't shown. But, it does make it more tense not knowing.
18:20 - I was literally just talking to the screen and saying how "Saxi is selfish! He should cast Magic Weapon so Raarh can kill this MFer." Then this happens.

What a battle this was, and a great conclusion to the maze. Excellent music and writing. Got a bit emotional, but happy to see the episode play out the way it did. Saxi's somber tone as he realizes this is a battle they may not be walking away from... to the Tronald, and Raarh doing what he does best! With a little help from his buddies, of course. This campaign has the best characters. Really, they're phenomenal.

I thought they were a little under leveled to fight such a powerful demon lord. A buffed Raarh a true terror more than any demon lord lol. I really find Alexandrew Bate entertaining I was so worried for him glad he will be around more. I love the combat episodes they are my favorite by far. I hope to see more combat in the future.
Pretty sure it's foreshadowing for when Raarh obviously turns into the BBEG at least for a little while due to that damn cursed sword which almost 100% of dms never let characters take, ie the super huge boss weapons. It's pure drama setup shenanigans.
If I remember correctly, truesight can’t see through hunger of hadar, as it’s not magical darkness but heavy obscurement to an inky void. Voraxtrix would have rolled with disadvantage unless he has a special ability that specifically lets him see through his own hunger of hadars (since truesight wouldn’t) Also holding your action to cast a spell requires your concentration as if you were concentrating on a spell, so blur should have dropped 😅 The rules lawyer in me can’t help myself haha. I still love the content regardless - I’m sure those homebrew decisions were just for the flow of the game as every table is different. Loving the content so much!
I think some of Raarhs attacks also used great weapon master but didn't subtract the -5 penalty. He should have missed at least one of those attacks (not the final round since he stated he wasn't using it). He said he got a 'natural 18', which should have meant he'd have gotten a 'tainted' 13.
When Raarh critted he would have had another attack on his bonus action because of GWM. Second time this was forgotten (other one was in the goblin fight). Also second time I noticed. Artificer armorer (or any gish in general) cannot do Booming Blade plus extra attack in one unless the extra attack comes from haste. You either do BB or 2 standard attacks, not both combined.
Another great episode, always happy to see another battle. My one gripe is that they should have used the scroll from Master Shenzu as it was more meaningful to Alexandrew, and I feel like Lunaria's necklace should have saved Saxy becuase it could have strengthened what I assume is a romantic angle that was hinted at in previous episodes.
The necklace is a used component for the revivify spell. It's only worth 300 gold and they got 2 more from the spell chest. Plus revivify only works within a SINGLE minute of someone's death or 10 rounds in battle. The raise dead scroll used on Gobba works within 10 days, and I believe resurrection is 100 years.
Most possibly, but maybe he can overcome the curse later (after it took affect and made him run havok) and awaken it to its uncursed true form 🤔😉 There is more than one way to deal with cursed objects😉
Definitely an epic battle. Good examples of Legendary and Lair, though I always thought they were a little over powered... especially how the designers put the CR with them. Of course that's just how I think of it. If it wouldn't have been for good rolls on the PC side, most likely a 5th level party like this would've been a TPK within 3 to 5 rounds. It was 100% supposed to be like Saxy said, appealing to the devil for an "Ok Tronald I'll help, but this time choose 2 party members to permakill for me" scenario only for Raarh to continue on his plan to say to hell with the labyrinths rules.
Pretty sure it's just a dramatic effect item. By the time they figure out what it does it'll have 99.999999999% likely have made Raarh into at least a temporary big bad evil guy since he's really the only thing keeping the group alive until Saxy truly comes into his true DnD Iron Man power. DMs almost never let you use the bad guy's weapon.

And also, in the battle phase you see the characters big. And it just made me wish for something funny seeing Bate there. I wish you had used mugshots/prison shots for him ( And also Tronald... would be so much more fun to look at :D ) Would also not have been sad, if Bate's mugshot was the last we saw of him, as they threw him down the caverns.. Epic fight though. And I do hope Lunaria gets to be a full member along the 3 originals. She really fits in. And also brings something the group is otherwise missing. And could see nice group interactions.

Lol, he definitely wanted someone to die considering they still had two ways to bring people back from the dead left to them since he knew about her revivify. Making so it's impossible unless they use someone else's skillset was the big hint while having Tronald waste 2 uses.

When he died the soul collection would have started to break apart since the boss was the one keeping the place together.
