When I was a kid in the 80's there was a local boy who tied the lead of a Shetland pony around his waist. The pony bolted and dragged the boy to death. I remember watching the local news and hearing this story. I learned never, ever, ever tie a lead to yourself. Why are you modeling this behavior? Do you think my nine year old is going to heed your warning text?

IMO you feed your horses much better than yourself , next time do not refuel with fast food or junk food , nutritionally you need healthy meal veggies protein snacks same as yoshi carrots apples bananas granola high energy expenditure requires excellent feed quality for rider as well as horse .
