For people wondering, the poll is on their head between their ears, hock is the back leg knee join and yes barrel is the middle part. What he pointed to for the poll would be around the whither area.
I haven't been able to do riding lessons for the past couple of weeks for health reasons, and I'll have to get a doctor's note if I want to continue riding, but I'm glad I can at least watch you and your husband have fun with horses. Thank you for your videos :D
I can relate, broke my knee from being thrown, my stud went right, as directed, I went left... 2 years later, have to use a 3 step mounting block to mount. Hurts my pride. But cowboy on.
Omg I can totally relate I have pretty extreme hypermobility and it caused me to get a severe muscle injury and had to quit for 7 years, now I have been back to riding for a couple years :))
I've never seen someone clean out a horse's hoof so gently. XD It reminds me of when I went to the hair salon and they had the trainee blow dry my hair. (The stylist did all the cut and color, and I didn't want to pay for a blow dry so i was ready to walk out with wet hair, but they said i could get a free blow dry if i was okay with the trainee doing it.) Normally the stylist has a very strong hand when brushing your hair for the dryer. But the trainee had the most timid gentle touch ever. XD Like I could barely feel her at times.
The part where you had Collin point to different areas of the horse was interesting! Would you consider a video explaining / demonstrating parts of the horse? Diagrams are helpful but it’s very helpful to see it demonstrated on an actual horse.
Funny! Crazy the things us horse people don't think twice about that people don't know. Also, nice Suburban. Love my 1998 454 2500 burb for my 3 horse bumper pull
I should have let you use my horse for the trailer portion of the challenge! After watching your horse load, I wish you’d come teach my horse to load!!! It’s not pretty. 😂. cute video.
Wow!!!! He did very Well 👏👏 he is an equestrian then🤗 i was waiting for the lunging and he did really good!!! I guess he has looking at you how you do it and he remembered (he film you many times i guess for your videos🐴😻)
If he would try that by the lesson horses I ride on he would not even get one point (only the body parts maybee) cause they are really hard to tack up 😂
Have you ever taken the time to think about a wild horse in its natural habitat? That when God made the Horse, He gave it all the natural fur and hair necessary to keep it warm and cool in all temperatures. (God did not place a man made blanket over the horse in Winter or shave the horse's hair in Summer.) But you take away the horse’s natural protection to make the horse prettier exposing him to the elements- and putting him at risk of becoming sick and unhealthy. Which is very selfish. The horse doesn’t have hands to brush away horse flies that bite him. (But that is why God gave him a tail and his long haired mane.) but of course you remove that also (I wish someone would tie your hands behind your back and put you in a room with mosquitoes so you could understand what you are doing to your horse - who is at your mercy or stupid whims) You need to start learning more about a horse. And Learn to Think Like a Horse. I have studied some great videos on TH-cam for 2 years and have never been around a horse very much. But I already know more than you do (and sometimes when my memory is not so good I forget more than you know)
We had a ton of fun making this one! Here’s our jumping challenge video if you missed it: th-cam.com/video/DeT-dZdnl84/w-d-xo.html
I think you have trouble not helping him do the challenges so you have a handicap in these LOL!

Yeah it's the same parts as a goat
I was wondering where the poll was! Thanks for saving me a google search

Praying for healing for you 🙏🏻
I also haven't been riding, thankfully it's not because of health problems

I love these videos! I want to see Collin saddle a horse! Maybe even ride it around a bit. Nothing crazy just a walk. Maybe a trot.

He did very well. Of course he saw you do it many times.👍🤣
Wow!!!! He did very Well 👏👏 he is an equestrian then🤗 i was waiting for the lunging and he did really good!!! I guess he has looking at you how you do it and he remembered (he film you many times i guess for your videos🐴😻)

I've never tried alfalfa. Lol, because we equestrians eat all of our other horses food/treats.

were you able to get it out of your hair?
The non-equestrian is going to be a equestrian at the end of this video!
I was always told to kick my legs.. not squeeze them?
Colin is staring into my sole in the beginning
Why do you not clean your buckets? The waterers feeders and buckets need to be cleaned daily.
Agreed.
If he would try that by the lesson horses I ride on he would not even get one point (only the body parts maybee) cause they are really hard to tack up 😂
