It's not often that you hear a song for the first time it just makes you smile and make you feel like you are happy it makes you get into your feelings
Anthem of sipping a hot coffee on Cold morning or a cold beer in the evening. All on the porch. How the fuck do idiots still call America racist. Ignorant morons.
Awesome to see a Darius Rucker appearance on the channel. In my opinion, he elevated this song to a new level by injecting it with some much needed soul
Darius Tucker's voice brings back all the good memories of my childhood despite all the bad. Hootie and the Blowfish and now he's back. So frigging glad because he's so talented!
Darius Rucker is soooooo cool! Love him! Great voice. He has done so good in country music. As an African American, I am so proud of him. Darius, you be da man!
Preston, this song was a huge hit in the mid 90’s. You will certainly feel this tune. It’s a ballad that put Darius Rucker on the map as a great vocalist.
This is the first video I've seen from you, and I'm so glad you loved this song! I grew up in Arkansas and have always been surprised I seem to encounter more people who are shocked that i like country music than those who also like it. Makes it so refreshing to see this video where you're so positive and wanting to hear more. Darius Rucker is one of my absolute favorites; if you want to listen to more from him I highly recommend "I Hope They Get To Me In Time" and "Perfect." For other artists I would recommend of course the king George Strait, and also Josh Turner and Randy Travis. Those two are great solo, and they did a duet performance once where they sang their songs together, and their voices mesh so perfectly.
Check out Hootie and the Blowfish. Darius Rucker was the frontman and they have some good 90's jams. Let Her Cry and Only Wanna Be With You are excellent choices. Great video.
This is an amazing song that lifts my spirits. I love Darius Rucker. And I have lots of respect for him going from alternative rock to country. He also sang with Lionel Richie.
Darius is the best! Hubby and I have listened to this song 100s of times with huge smiles on our faces, just like you. I still hum Time (why you punish me????) from back in the day. Hootie and the Blowfish. Awesomeness
As soon as you said this song or video makes you happy I was thinking the exact same thing because every time I hear this song I get excited and happy just makes you feel good.
I saw the title for the video I have not even watched it yet and already im fucking excited dude I swear you are the best music channel out right now period
Met him when was with Hoodie and the Blow Fish some years ago during Masters week here in Augusta. It was my daughters 6th birthday and we saw them in concert at Rock for Dough at First Tee. Such a nice person and gracious. We still have the concert poster they all signed wishing her happy birthday btw today is her birthday and she’s now 20. Hard to believe.
That's crazy, cause when I first heard this song, it made me feel happy too, and I couldn't help, but just move my body around to the rhythm..... I love this song.
Darius Rucker - If I Told You Darius Rucker - It Won't Be Like this for Long Darius Rucker - Alright Thomas Rhett - Marry Me Thomas Rhett - Die A Happy Man Thomas Rhett - When I Was Your Man Brad Paisley - Online Brad Paisley - Waitin on A Woman Brad Paisley - Letter To Me Brad Paisley - Ticks Kane Brown - Heaven Brett Young - In Case You Didn't Know Brett Young - Mercy Billy Currington - People Are Crazy Billy Currington - Good Directions Sam Hunt - Take Your Time Zac Brown Band - Colder Weather Zac Brown Band - Chicken Fried Zac Brown Band - My Old Man Zac Brown Band - Knee Deep Zac Brown Band - Sweet Annie Zac Brown Band - Goodbye In Her Eyes Just to name a few..
Little history about this song. Bob Dylan wrote the catch for a movie. Old Crow Medicine Show wrote the rest of the song, years later. Rucker did the cover. Both Old Crow and Rucker did well. You would like Old Crows original version
Bro I know exactly what you’re talking about how the song is like making you “happy”. I feel the same way when I hear it. Every morning before I’d go into work I’d make some coffee and let’s this song play to start my day.
I like your vids man. Whether it's this country song, or Alice in chains, Korn, Pantera, Tupac, Lil Dicky, etc. Its cool to see someone enjoy music the way I do. As far as country music check Johnny Cash rendition of Nine inch nails "hurt". Unbelievable. Have you checked out Big L yet? He was a 90's rapper from NY. I highly suggest checking him out for some crazy awesome tracks. Keep at it man, I enjoy it.
Yeah this song makes me feel tottally happy and content on the inside. You aint the only one. Song seems to say no matter what all is good when you step back and be present in the moment.
Love your reaction to this video! Love you bro! I love that you don't see race .....just us as we are! I got your back and you got mine! I wish there were more people like you out there!
darius rucker was rhe lead singer of hootie and the blowfish. i loved him there and when he went solo as a country artist i was skeptical but he hit it out of the park and i see no end in sight. great reaction great song. good luck with all youe endevers :)
You are my absolute favorite bro. You so real. I bet if I asked you what your favorite genre of music is your answer would be that you don't have one. That there is greatness in every genre of music. A true fan and love for music.
This is one of my feel good songs and I love this song as well as A Southern State of Mind. Being a girl born and raised in the south now living in iowa... This song has a special place in my heart. I don't feel free here in the Midwest/North. I hope you get your ranch someday 😊
Waylon Jennings - I've always been crazy. Waylon Jennings - Are you sure hank done it this way Highwaymen - Desperado Waiting for a train Highwaymen - Devils Right Hand. Highwaymen - against the wind. Highwaymen - Highwaymen. Johnny Cash - Sunday Morning Coming Down. Johnny Cash - On the evening train. Willie Nielson Ft. Lukas Nielson - Breath. Kris Kristofferson - Help Me Make it through the night (Live w/Highwaymen). All those songs could be your gateway drugs for all of these artists! I listen to all those songs at least one time a week 🔥🔥🔥
Willie Nelson is the most widely adored country singer of all time. He even did a song with Snoop Dogg. I have personal favorites, his cover of the gospel song 'Uncloudy Skies' and "Me and Paul'. But I guarantee you'd get a big reaction from reacting to ANY Willie song. The man is in his 80's and still touring. He's pretty spectacular. I've seen him 5 times.
Thank you! I am not a big country fan but i will never forget the day i saw him perform! Blown away! This is comin from a girl in her twenties. No one like him! I mean the man practices tai chi and has a black belt in taekwondo lol.
This song was actually a cover. A band called Old Crow Medicine Show came out with the original like a decade earlier, and Bob Dylan wrote the chorus to it back in '73!! They're a very old-fashioned country group, and I'm sure you know who Dylan is.
Hey, bro. Love the channel. Love the reactions. Love the variety. Keep doing you, and 100k will be yours in no time. You deserve it. If you need another song though, try Trampled By Turtles - Wait So Long.
That feeling you got when you said this is making you feel really happy right now, Darius has always done that to me too dude. He seems like one of those guys you could chill with and instantly hit it off with! If you’ve never heard the band that made him famous check out HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH!!!!
King KTF, just a little insight for this video. The guy giving Darius a ride is Si Robertson from Duck Dynasty tv show. At the end on the tour bus, you see the rest of the Robertson family. In the bar, you also see Jace Robertson at a table singing along
Loved this reaction. Also, you look d confused about all the people at the end of the video on the bus. They are the Robertson family from the reality show Duck Dynasty.
Gotta do some Gary Allan. "Half of My Mistakes", "It Ain't The Whiskey", "Life Ain't Always Beautiful", "Ever Storm Runs Out Of Rain", any of those will do. Edit: Anything by Gary Allan is good. Live versions, music videos, they all sound amazing. There isn't a song by him that isn't good. He lived his music, and with "No Regrets" especially, since it was about his wife's suicide and how he got past it. He is one of the most under-rated country artists there is. He's been in the business for over 20 years, yet never seems to get much play on the radio or on the charts.
The coolest thing that anyone can ever be is purely themself. All of us are such interesting characters if we can just find the balls to simply be us. Props to you for pushing past all the bullshit peer pressure that we all have, & living your life on your own terms.
Good one. And Zac Brown's "Chicken Fried" suggestion below is on a similar, "feel good" vain. So many Pop-Country cookie molds today, but try some of those outlaw "Dirt Road" artists. My favorite is CODY JINKS, and his "I AIN'T THE DEVIL" or "HIPPIES and COWBOYS".
Hey Bro - love the video and your reaction. The great thing about music is how it appeals to each of us individually and yet can bring people together. Anyways...some great country songs include - Josh Turner - Your Man, George Strait - Amarillo by Morning (classic country), Midland - Drinking Problem, Darius Rucker - Don't think I don't think about it, Southern Style, Blake Shelton - Dallas, Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullabye, Zack Brown Band - Highway 20
I’m glad Darius Rucker did right by this song. A great version for sure. It was an unfinished song by Bob Dylan that was finished by the group Old Crow Medicine Show. That version will always have a place in my heart. Great song!
Love Darius Rucker since the old days with Hootie and the Blowfish. Love him even more now. This is just a feel good song with a great cast of supporting characters - Duck Dynasty & Sugarland. For a different vibe check out his song "So I Sang". Written as a tribute to his deceased mother. One of the most beautiful songs ever.......of course it might be a mother thing.
This song was written by Bob Dylan for the Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid movie. The Old Crow Medicine show helped write and added verse later. Check out some Bob Dylan. Not everyone can dig his voice, but his songs are, well, Nobel material.
Hootie "Darius Rucker" from "Hootie and the Blowfish" is doing great on his own!!!! Darius is one of my favorite singers. He is better than the majority of those out today.
I always come away from your videos laughing at your body language and expressions. Put it like this I just plain feel good and have renewed energy to finish out my day. Never give up your dreams, even if you make it 80% of the way you will have enjoyed your life.
I'm just at the beginning of the vid (glad you're enjoying it). I never thought of this song as "country" really - maybe more "folk rock." Anyway, if you (by the end) dig it, check out (and I know people will hate me for suggesting it) Mumford and Sons. Really any song from either of their first two big albums. I personally like "Sigh No More" (perhaps mainly because it references one of my fave Shakespeares). But really, that album will scratch your itch if you like "Wagon Wheel."
Thanks for the reaction! Here are some other lyrically sick songs you can react to: Tim Dog - Step to me Tim Dog - Fuck Compton Mos Def - Auditorium LL Cool J - Mama said knock you out Chali 2na - Comin thru Smif N Wessun - Wrekonize Xzibit - My name (ft. Grea choice for a reaction of Darius Rucker. Recommend doing more of him if you can bro. Much love. #KTF road to 100k.
I personally like "it won't be like this for long"
I personally like "This" and "If I told you" but that is also a good one.
If you like some old school country. You should really check out "nighttime sky" by Nick13
you should do homegrown honey by Darius Rucker.
Duck dynasty and hootie!
Love some darrius rucker. Dude can sing
he is golden voice man.
Dude, are you my uncle? My uncle's name is Mark E Clark...
When I saw your name, it reminded me of this.

His voice is an antidepressant.
@Robert Siegfried even the band was a bit country, which is why they get hated on sometimes. They are from Carolina, it's gonna show. 😍

And I was born and raised in NC so I love all of the references to my home state in this song!
I have to say it...you are TOO adorable in these reactions dude hahaha
Your genuine reaction makes me smile as much as the song.
Great song and video and your reaction was a "feel good" as the song! Keep 'em coming!
Love his music. He was the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish. He is from Columbia SC my home State. ❤️

Good tune. Glad you liked it.
Its good to listen to different stuff.
YOU KNOW BROTHER WHEN I WATCH YOU WATCHING THE VID IT CHANGED YOUR WHOLE ATTITUDE AND PERSONALITY DAMN DARIUS IS POWERFUL BROTHER IT LOOKED 💯ON YOU
Gotta do some Gary Allan. "Half of My Mistakes", "It Ain't The Whiskey", "Life Ain't Always Beautiful", "Ever Storm Runs Out Of Rain", any of those will do.

Yes PLEASE Mr Preston!!
I saw Darius Rucker in a concert and he rocked the house.
The coolest thing that anyone can ever be is purely themself. All of us are such interesting characters if we can just find the balls to simply be us. Props to you for pushing past all the bullshit peer pressure that we all have, & living your life on your own terms.
Tennessee will be HAPPY to have you.....beautiful country down here. :)
Darius is great. This a remake of one of the greatest songs ever! Thank you Preston!
Hey Bro - love the video and your reaction. The great thing about music is how it appeals to each of us individually and yet can bring people together.
