Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed the video ... it's the greatest reward to know that people are getting something out of all this effort. It's a labor of love for sure :-)
Imo the warncliff is the ultimate self-defense blade because the cutting pressure goes all the way to the tip. I finally got an xm-24 in December in the skinny warncliff variation, and i love it.
@smokedogg19821 Michael Janich, the designer of Yojimbo knife variants, has a great video on the subject, and he is an expert, so I'm going to have to say I agree! And it's a great box opener / utility blade shape. You got yourself a great knife and hopefully you will never have to use it in that capacity, but it's there just in case. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@satudave thank you Dave! Good to be back at making them! I was fixing up my house, packing it for a move, and looking for a new house for the last several months, so that's the main reason why I stopped for a while. But after I removed all evidence of my ex and cleaned up all that cat hair I fell back in love with my house and decided to stay. So I'm back to having free time. I've also been adding videos to my other channel that just has exploring / historical videos
@@andrew5117 yeah I'm a fan of Hinderer knives. I have another new one that I haven't filmed yet (that's three new Hinderers in the last 30 days) so keep your eyes open for that one and sub if you haven't so you don't miss it (shameless plug) lol. I'm kind of happy that the night market is slowed down so I can get my hands on some of these knives finally
@@appalachianadvrider I’m already subbed my friend… looking forward to more Hinderer vids thats about the only thing I’ve been buying the past year or so. I agree the market is coming down and Hinderer has been putting out a lot more product lately. If you haven’t you need to sign up for there website newsletter they’ve been doing insane drops the last few weeks
Beautiful knife ! I scored one that just suddenly popped up yesterday on DTL. There were two, I chose the hollow ground S45 in red g10 with working finish lock side. . Within a few minutes the same knife in OD green was sold. I’m stoked to receive it in a few days. This will be my fifth Hinderer. Yep ! I’m a Hinderer fan boy….lol.
@MegaFrank1960 how is that hollow grind? I had the option of getting it but the scale color was orange and I passed on it. Hinderer has really stepped up their edges and the last several I purchased came in really sharp, so I have no regrets getting their normal grind.
@ I’m not sure, it’s still in the mail so I haven’t handled it yet. Are you talking about the orange one at DTL yesterday / today ? Last night I just happened to be searching on DTL’s Hinderer pages looking for three copper scale screws, when 5 pages deep, there they were, 2 XM24s, I in red G10 and 1 in OD green G10. Both with hollow ground slicer blades in S45. At “ludicrous speed” (lol) I swiftly entered my shipping and billing info and got lucky with the red one. About an hour later, the green was was gone. There were still plenty of “skinny’s” though. This morning I checked back on the site, and saw that another one was sometime listed in orange, but it too was gone.
Great video and awesome knife brother!

Congrats again bro. You know I am all about the bigger folders. Hard to beat the 24’s for overall quality. Super glad to see you back doing a video
