Yes, I do agree. Runway 34 was way decent than rest of the movie. Being an ardent fan of aviation investigation, I watched Runway 34 on the very first day. Having watched literally every movie or documentary related to aircrash investigation, from the very first scene I could recognize it was copied from Chinese movie 'The Captain' (available on Prime) which was based on the true incident which happened to flight 8633. But as the story proceeded and the flight made the miraculous landing I felt it was quite similar to an American movie 'Flight'. If you have watched both 'The Captain' and 'Flight' I am sure you would realize the initial plot was copied from 'The captain' and the air incident was quite same to that of the movie ' Flight' major difference being, it was cocaine there and alcohol here in Runway 34. Just the enquiry setup in the 2nd half was completely different than both the movies.
