So overall, the director Ayan spend 400 crore rupees on VFX and only 400 rupees for Storyline and Dialogues.
Edit : maine movie dekhi hai and i genuinely felt ki VFX pe hi 400 crore kharch hue hai 😂not on story and dialogues. The only negative thing about the movie is that Brahmastra Part 1 lacks the simple heroic essence of main character as they aligned and gave it a love angle Like 'Pyar Ki Taqat se enegry boost ho jana'. Other than that Movie is fantastic, VFX is top notch. Cameo roles of legendary actors like Srk and Nagarjuna Sir is 'sone pe suhaga'. Mouni Roy ne dil jeet liya, from being a heroine to a sassy villain. Yes she nailed it. Ranbir and Alia's acting is satisfactory and many dialogues were cringey. Overall, i loved it.

In Telugu we have enjoyed the Movie but the only problem happened with lead pair love story. When makers want to do a movie on the god or take the god as a main element they should show the emotions between the characters love is a emotion but it didn’t help brahmastra and the dubbed dialogues of Telugu version is horrible. Story is so good but love is the element which ruined the film
We have to appreciate ayans work because at least he tried to bring the good story on screen

Like every one said the only negative for me was the love story. Also they could have shown a little more of Junoon and gang and their story a little bit. VFX is very good as its seems that movie is a hit. eagerly wating for future parts
the essence of the movie or the theme of the movie is supposed to be legends from upanishads and other Grantha. All the aspects shown are completely wrong. they tried to twist it but failed miserably.
They are showing that a random person with evil thoughts wants to become Brahma dev. So basically BrahmaDe is shown as to be a villian. Now why did they call him a Brahma Dev is because he wants Brahmastra. Brahmastra doesn't belong to Brahma dev. it is called Brahmastra because it has power to destroy the whole universe and not because Brahma owns it.
Astra is a weapon. a weapon that you throw at the opponent to cause damage. the movie basically shows an Astra as an amulet where you draw power from.
The movie is not atall researched properly. its like you go to give an exam and write a love poem because you don't know answer to the question.
Definitely there was lack of research and there lots made up astra like Nandiastra and vaanastra , renamed astra like vaayuastra was renamed paavanastra and varunastra was named jalastra

Honestly, only thing that put me off were the constant love scenes forced in and cringey dialouges. Other than that, everything was pretty gud. Srk and Nagarjun sir really took the crown, they should've been used more. And ngl, Mouni Roy really outdid herself here. I literally was waiting for her scenes throughout the whole movie💖

Bro the movie is 25℅ based on power of love and there is not ashleel love in the movie it's real love but somewhat over because ayan mukharji started to write the story in 2014 so it's some more love and cringy dialouges but i bet part two will be better because they've got their mistakes and now they will fix them

I believe with some minor changes the love story would have worked. Alia should have been portrayed as weilding an astra which can detect the presence of individuals having the ability to weild astras. She could have been used as a scout by Amitabh Bachchan to detect such individuals;so by a chance encounter she comes across Ranbir and immediately detects his hidden power and pretends falling in love with him till she manages to take him to the ashram. Then they could have organically fallen in love.Just my opinion tho!!!

That might be the actual purpose of her character. The reason why I feel it is:
1. When Shiva says he knows Anish Shetty, she smiles a bit in the Pandal.
2. When Shiva asks who are the young guys in Brahmansh Ashram, Alia just says they are new members of Brahmansh(Scene where Shiva is wondering why the Boat is kept on the mountains), means maybe she already knows about them.
3. The reason why Alia acted so surprised might be because she might not be able to distinguish between good and evil powers, so to confirm that she might be behaving that way with Shiva.
4. Apart from that if you have noticed, there are continous tints blue and red lights or color whenever they both meet. As we have seen, in the movie these colors respectively represent good and evil, this might be hint that there more depth to Alia's character in next sequels of the movies.
5. Anish(Nagarjuna) was not afraid even a bit when handing the second piece of Brahmastra to Isha(Alia), even though Shiva was a complete stranger to him.
6. In the pre-climax, when Guru(Bachhan sir) says he had told Isha to bring all his(Shiva's) mother's things from his home. But, this scene was never shown in the movie. As Bachhan is supposed to be the most intelligent amongst the senior Astra holders, he won't tell this to a complete stranger to bring something so sensitive.
We might see all this upcoming sequels, hoping it's really exciting

Movie is only good if you watch it in theatre & Shut down your brain for cringey dialogues & Forced 4 day love story then only you can enjoy the movie. The plot was epic but execution was bad. Ending leaves you at cliff Hanger but it's worth it

Cut to hame Shiva ka Character dikhaya jayenga Varanasi me jisper Evil log hamla kar dete hai. Uske baad Shiva bahos ho jayenga jaha usko uske father Deva ka vision ayenga as Good Character.
Cut to hame Shiva Gurukul me dikehnga jisko Isha bachake layi hoti hai. Isha Gurukul ki ek shishya hoti hai.
Cut to hame Shiva trainning karte dikhta jaha sath sath me uska aur Isha ka bond stong hota. But Shiva trainning ke vakt khudka control kho deta hai aur woh jaha usko apni Mother ka vision aata hai.
Shiva apne vision ke bareme Guru ko batata hai, Guru unko Ek unknown vyakti ke bareme batate hai, jo iske bareme jyada information rakhte hai.
Shiva aur Isha us vyakti se milne jate hai jo Nagarjuna ka Character Nandi hoga. Nagarjuna Shiva ko Brahmastra ke bareme batate hai, jo ek Mahapralaykari Astra hai, to usko bachane ke liye iske 3 tukde kar diye gaye the. Jisme se ek Khud Shiva hai joh 21 saal ka hone ke baad usko unlock kiya jaa sakta. Wahi baki do tukde Gurukul aur Shiva ke Dad ke pass hai.
Iske baad Mouni Roy Yaha par hamla kardeti hai par jese tese yah log bach jate hai. Par woh log jab Gurukul me jate hai tab unko Gurukul tabah huva milta. Jisper ek Bahut shaktsaali character ne hamla kiya hota hai.
Toh Shiva, Isha aur Nagarjuna teeno log Shiva ke Father ke pass jane lagte hai. Aur yahi hamara first part khatam hoga.

According to me " Brahmastra " movie me " kesariya" song me se "love-storiya" agar remove ho jata aur Jitna effort Ayan Sir ne movie ke vfx me lagaya hai utna hi effort agar movie ke dialogue (script) me lagaya hota to fir I swear ki ye movie one of the best bollywood movie ho sakti thi.
But don't ignore this movie just because of other people opinions , you must watch this movie at least one time😄

I've just watched the movie. It's a nice movie, a good attempt at the vfx effects and all. The story about the astras was good, good acting by Srk sir, AB sir, Nagarjuna sir, RK, Mouni. Dialogues were a bit cringeworthy and I didn't really feel much chemistry between RK and Alia.

In the first half Ranbirs character was shown a bit confused about how he is related to the super powers . And between that the love story was shown . I think the director did not give a clear perspective to Ranbir . Ranbir’s character was struggling between alias love and the fact that he has some superpowers it was kind of a confusing thing for Ranbir as an actor and that’s why he did not get a clear perspective . Both the characters could not catchup with the love story part as movie was progressing towards the Astra part or did not fit well .. cause if you watch kesariyan song … their chemistry is just mind blowing . But here in the movie there are a lot of aspects like the different Astras , They have to deal with the villains , different situations , Rabirs past etc etc etc . If the director wanted to show a love story then he must have laid a foundation for both of them and then the Astra thing would have proceeded further . Also if Alia was to be shown a poor girl from Varanasi like Ranbir … I would have loved it . like both live in Varanasi . From there little love story part … and then the whole Astra verse introduction cause they had such a great start that’s SRK role in the beginning. However the movie did not catchup and some places where it did try to catchup was hampered by weak dialogue delivery and lack of enthusiasm and excitement and the connection of the characters with Bramhastra and with each other . These type of love stories need some special emphasis cause you have so many big actors , scenes which easily overshadow the love story part . The focus should have been more on BRAMHASTRA ( the three parts ) and that would have been shown more importantly and as I said with a touch of a mild love angle between them . The story should have been about BRAMHASTRA and how Shiva and Isha and other things are around it and related to it and not about The power of love between Shiva and Esha and how it can control BRAMHASTRA which is basically scattered in parts . Even if it was about SHIVA but it’s the first movie in the triology and the title of two films that’s yet to come . VFX was superb 👏 other things apart from the ones I mentioned were great ❤️👍 as per me .
I salute Ayan for coming up with such a great concept . I’m proud of you Ayan for your patience and dedication . Let’s love and appreciate this fact 💯🔥❤️
