Ok I got a few things to say. First.. its a potato cake not a scollop... second is for Bec, when you want to reverse straight use your side mirrors only, if you see trailer in your left mirror turn the steering wheel left and if you see it in the right turn the steering wheel right and the last is for Justin.. Well done running up the mountain Champ. Loved the episode keep up the good work, cheers........
Hey Justin, I was having the same issue with my baby Weber Q with not getting over 180. I drilled out the gas jet with a 1mm drill bit and now have no problems hitting 250c-300c even if its windy! You do have to be a little careful when baking to not burn the bottom but totally worth it! I would recommend a 0.9mm drill bit if you can find one. Also DUMP POINT, love your content guys!
Mrs and I have same keep cups in same colours, finally found ones that actually fit in the cup holders and keep our coffees hot for ages. 20 bucks from woollies!

Another great vid I line the inside of the Weber with foil and let it hang out about 100mm at each end and when it's windy fold up to stop wind, and also keeps the mess down on clean up....not on ( Dump point )
Great to see Bec rise to the occasion and have a go at the Dump Point. Must admit it’s not the nicest of jobs. With the use of mustard, you don’t taste it when the meat is all done. You can use mustard from a squeeze bottle if you wish and it’s cheaper then buying Dijon mustard. I’ve even used a light coating of mayo to hold the rub on the meat and there has been no funky flavors apart from the rub. Cheers….. Pete

Hot tip Justo when using a Chopping board. To stop it moving around while you slice, dice or chop. Wet (don't soak) a piece of paper towel or a tea towel, place under your board and viola, it'll stay still and not move around.

Not sure if anyone has said to cover your Weber with a fire blanket. We have an old one we keep just for that use. It helps stop the wind & raises the temperature, works like charm. Love your vids

Maaaaaate back in our day ( damn just saying that made me feel old) a "Dump Point" was when ya filled the kingswood with junk and took it to the tip and they pointed you to the tip face and said thats ya Dump point ... as always a great episode ... when are you gonna start making your own beer ? in the late 80s Castle hill was my back yard i used to run straight up the side of it ... these days i wouldnt be able to walk it haha
Hot tip for Bec if you don't already know it, the 300 series has an automatic mirror tilting function. Leave the side mirror dial in either the L or R position and the mirrors will tilt when you put the car in reverse.
Hmmm! "Dump Point" that's one thing we didn't miss when we came back from hols😚. We loved Townsville. A tip Justin, try rubbing plenty of powdered mustard on your beef next time, delicious ! I have have been advise by my wife to inform you Bon Appetit is French not English...you know what they are like!! Take care love to all. 👍
Regarding the heat on bbq. When you next get your gas bottle filled take it to a gas outlet and not swop a bottle. Gas bottles contain two gases, propane and butane, one being heavier than the other. Propane burns hotter. When the gas shop fills the bottle they will more than likely unscrew the little screw under the tap to get a better mix. Now watch what heat you get doing that.

mustard (american style yellow hotdog mustard, not dijon - eww) is a good binder for pork ribs/roasts/bellies - but beef, not so much... a bit of olive oil if your surface is dry and your rub is not sticking to the meat... if you want to take your weber-ing to the next level, invest in a smoke tube and some smoke pellets to smoke away whilst you cook, gives some smokey flavour into gas cookers... makes a heck of an improvement!
