This song is so powerful, I went to Rome last month, to go see the statue of the two boys, and the wolf. A monument to their suffering, and what they managed to do in the face of all the adversity. This is one of the greatest songs ever written.
this is one of the most gorgeous filming of a set i've ever seen. the way it captures the audiences raw energy as well as johns energy... its just stunning. bravo
This is maybe the 4th time I’ve seen a live recording of this where John adds a second “We will be gone” to the chorus, and I love it. The way he almost screams it is wonderful
I love the energy of this song. It's like saying "F##k you!" to all the problems that life throws at us and that we will survive and come out stronger in the end.
Wow, thanks. There is no more footage. I only set out to film this song. I took several pictures as well and spent most of the time singing along with everyone else.
I know the list for the Austin show which was the following night. Pretty sure they are the same. 1. High Hawk Season 2. Have to Explode 3. Lovecraft in Brooklyn 4. Moon Over Goldsboro 5. Cotton 6. Southwood Plantation Road 7. Dutch Orchestra Blues 8. Soft Targets 9. Wear Black 10. In Memory of Satan 11. San Bernardino 12. Song for Sasha Banks 13. Stabbed to Death Outside San Juan 14. Cry for Judas 15. Hast Thou Considered the Tetrapod Encore 16. Foreign Object 17. Game Shows Touch Our Lives 18. Up the Wolves 19. This Year 20. No Children
In response to the lyrics “there’s gonna come a day when you feel better” he yells “that’s today!” then the line is “you’ll rise up free and easy on that day” and he yells “that’s right now!”

I think every time I've seen them live he's done this, both at solo and full band shows!
God I miss live music and being shoved into venues that can't hold us.
John should pay you to film concerts cause this is superb
This is so beautifully shot. Absolutely awesome.
