There is people that prefer the english dub Soundtrack over this and that's ok. The dub in my country didn't change the soundtrack, meaning that I grew up hearing this version. So a few days ago I heard the english dub ost and I hated it, especially how that dub completely destroyed this master piece and replaced it with a wierd electronic music. But I guess that there is no better version is just which one of the two do you prefer and which one do you know the most.
Same. In my country only the dialogues are translated, so everything else including the openings used the original japanese ver. Like even the digimon names and leveling system used the japanese ones, so forever i'll remember Omegamon instead Omnimon, or Dukemon over Gallantmon. Tho since in games that i played are all in eng, i can't help to remember the Rookie - Champion - Ultimate - Mega terms instead of the original Child - Adult - Perfect - Ultimate
Literally every Digimon anime season in existence I prefer the Japanese music.... *expect for season 5 (Digimon Data Squad)* in which case, it is the ONLY season I'd rather watch in *English Dub* just because it has *BETTER MUSIC* than the Japanese subbed version (along with some good voice actors, like Crispin Freeman, voice of Tomas H. Norstein), so yeah *I prefer the English version of the Burst Mode theme WAY MORE than this Japanese version IMO.*
Really?! Hmm maybe I haven’t given the English version a chance. I couldn’t stand Agumon or Marcus voice in English. I saw it in Spanish and Marcus is so aggressive and agumon sounds like the Japanese version and I love him for it! The music just accents the natural aggressive masculinity of Marcus!

Good lord this is so slow and boring. It doesn't get me hyped up, it feels like music that should be playing as one of the main characters gets slaughtered End of Evangellion-style. On its own its a fine piece of music, but it just doesn't seem like it belongs in Digimon. The Japanese evo theme gets you excited, this one puts me to sleep.
I have to disagree. They meant to show that achieving burst mode is by no means an ordinary feat, the slow pace and the choir exactly made me feel that way, it’s like they have done something I could call a miracle, and that’s why I love this track. Besides, they already have too many fast songs in this show, a change of style makes it special.
