This was my "Brave Heart". When Jetix was still on TV, Digimon Savers/Data Squad was on streaming in mu country, and I didn't appreciate this series at that moment because I prefer Pokemon that Digimon. But now, I finally finished to see Savers, and I absolubtly loved.

While nothing can beat my favorite evolution the Break up Believer is one of my personal favorites. It’s just a perfect uplifting and motivating evolution theme. This song was one of the reasons I started watching Savers back in 9th grade. Savers introduced me to my favorite Greymon ShineGreymon Burst Mode and my 6th favorite Digimon of all time. The almighty MirageGaogamon!

Digimon savers teaches me about human potential. None of the digidestined in the show is Godlike and becomes the most powerful. For example, there were still Royal knights that outclassed even the burst mode. There was no Susanoomon, omegamon, imperialdramon palindin mode or dukemon crimson mode in this season. However, the team, especially its leader Maseru, defeated the ultimate bad through moral superiority and never giving up. Like the final punch with Agumon burst mode. And the cool thing is that all the team members reached burst mode in the end (in line with the full potential theme). Lastly, Maseru best exemplifies this human potential theme by being able to punch a digimon.

I'll leave it as follows. 1) I understand the whole theme of Digimon (and most anime series like this in general) is that friendship makes you stronger, but Daimon punching to defeat a god feels "godlike" to me. There is no need to compare the seasons, mostly because all of them are quite different in their own way and include different types of digievolution. However, I really like this season because showed how stronger the digidestined guys can be. And focusing the sportlight only in 4 its the best idea because all of them had character development and provide their own perspective and expectations throughout the show. The relationships development was epic and all the arcs have deep issues and were managed very well. 10/10

Quite sad that a lot of people slept or hated this series, for me personally.. this was a lot darker than Tamers and most of it made a lot of sense to me, and the character development was spectacular... And ofc, Masaru was a dumbass from the beginning but he slowly became the manliest MC that we knew in Digimon the moment he became the true leader of their squad..
Both Thoma and Yoshino were able to overcome their fears from the past and achieve their true potential and Ikuto understood who he really is: a human with the heart of a digimon. This was such a great season...

I was okay with the series till the final episode/battle of the Savers series. Everything felt paced and worked well till the very end which felt rushed... least that is how I saw it due to the constant build up and such.

I grew up with Adventure and Tamers was by far my favorite in the series. I dropped Frontier and lost interest in the franchise afterwards. I had seen some Savers footage like some shinka animations but nostalgia fans had spread so many negative comments about it that I didn't want to give it a try... until 2012-ish. I watched the JP version with subs and fuck, I loved it so much! Now it's my second favorite in the whole series.

Maybe thats why many people dislike it especially after seeing the hero and their Digimon Partner work together against the enemy like Biomerge Evolution on Tamers. Beside if you watch Frontier first it will not make sense how the hell two member of Royal Knight work together with the leader of Seven Demon Lords when Royal Knight and Seven Demon Lord is a nemesis and hate each other.
@@BlossomPathOnStage15 i believe Frontier have something good later on in the series, but i can't sit through the first 10 episode. it's not bad, but it's not that interesting either. you only have a group of kids that aren't interesting on their own nor their interaction is funny(or interesting). on top of that there isn't much other support character to bounce off off add that with the formulaic monster of the week make me lost interested in frontier.

MrOathFlame Frontier most likely because people aren't use to the idea of humans becoming Digimon. Savers might be because 1) The new main Digimons for this series was essentially Gabumon, Togemon, and Agumon again. Or 2) No goggles.
Savers i don´t know, but frontier was so bad that almost killed digimon, they actually went bankrupt because of frontier, then they made the movie digimon x evolution as a farewell for the fans, then that movie saved digimon allow it to continue, so next time you see someone ask why the hate frontier tell them this, because it was so bad it almost killed digimon as a franchise

I was okay with the series till the final episode/battle of the Savers series. Everything felt paced and worked well till the very end which felt rushed... least that is how I saw it due to the constant build up and such.
It made the least sense to me. I could not latch onto it. It was the least Digimon series for me. Digimon Xros Wars was closer but not quite.

I grew up with Adventure and Tamers was by far my favorite in the series. I dropped Frontier and lost interest in the franchise afterwards. I had seen some Savers footage like some shinka animations but nostalgia fans had spread so many negative comments about it that I didn't want to give it a try... until 2012-ish. I watched the JP version with subs and fuck, I loved it so much! Now it's my second favorite in the whole series.

Maybe thats why many people dislike it especially after seeing the hero and their Digimon Partner work together against the enemy like Biomerge Evolution on Tamers. Beside if you watch Frontier first it will not make sense how the hell two member of Royal Knight work together with the leader of Seven Demon Lords when Royal Knight and Seven Demon Lord is a nemesis and hate each other.
@@BlossomPathOnStage15 i believe Frontier have something good later on in the series, but i can't sit through the first 10 episode. it's not bad, but it's not that interesting either. you only have a group of kids that aren't interesting on their own nor their interaction is funny(or interesting). on top of that there isn't much other support character to bounce off off add that with the formulaic monster of the week make me lost interested in frontier.

@@combativeThinker i know that's the whole point of "no digimon partner", but when their character interaction is so boring and bland in the first 10 episode of the series, it's hard not to miss something like digimon partner for them to bounce off.

Frontier most likely because people aren't use to the idea of humans becoming Digimon.
Savers might be because
1) The new main Digimons for this series was essentially Gabumon, Togemon, and Agumon again.
Or
2) No goggles.
So basically they're all boring people?
Savers i don´t know, but frontier was so bad that almost killed digimon, they actually went bankrupt because of frontier, then they made the movie digimon x evolution as a farewell for the fans, then that movie saved digimon allow it to continue, so next time you see someone ask why the hate frontier tell them this, because it was so bad it almost killed digimon as a franchise
i mean, i saw a lot of flaws in frontier, but i didnt think it was THAT bad. worst maybe, but not that bad in general. ... good to know it fucked them up that much, damn.
