I archive all the DC to Florida livestreams. They’re available to all channel members. Unfortunately some of the streams have copyrighted music and is blocked from viewing in some countries. I’ve done my best to go through and edit it out but there’s still a lot of missing days.

Your exploits may be cool, but your actions on a bicycle in traffic exacerbate people’s attitudes against cyclists in the city.
Red light running, weaving from bike lane into traffic and sidewalks, going the wrong way down streets, not stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks are what cyclists do not want to be associated with!
It’s interesting you have feelings about the way city traffic operates, most likely in a country you don’t live in. That would be the same as me complaining about cycling in Mumbai or Jakarta.

It’s not about the traffic, it’s about the way you ride. I lived in the US for more than 40 years, and participated in Critical Mass in SF. While living in The City, I commuted raced and toured in Northern and Central CA. While living abroad I’ve cycled in Copenhagen, Rome, the Rhine Valley, Napoli, and various location in Japan. Simply put, bicycles are to follow the same rules as motor vehicles while on the road, the same rules as pedestrians while on the sidewalks and limit speed while on dedicated bike paths. I’ve visited and ran in NYC, which has similar bicycle culture, but riding like bike messengers weaving in and out through tightly packed cars and using pedestrians as slalom poles really presents you in a bad light.
Definitely a privileged mentality. Hope you don’t cause someone to get hurt by your actions. Karma…
