📰The New York Times sent a “cease and desist” letter to AI startup Perplexity, backed by Jeff Bezos, saying its AI crawlers were scraping the publisher’s data illegally. At the crossroads is a handful of other news organizations making deals with other AI companies, allowing them to use their data.
💸Recent data from the data firm CB Insights shows some 31% of global venture funding going into generative AI this last quarter. What’s this mean for the overall fast-evolving space?
