Out of all the philodendron's you've shown throughout the years, the Whipple Way has my eye. The first time you showed one on your channel, I started looking for one. I can't afford one so I dream through your channel. 💗💗💗💗
Variegated giganteum has a perfect petiole to leaf ratio when mature. Yours is very young. In my family room in USA, I've grown mine to almost 6 feet tall with leaves twice or thrice as big of your head. Highly recommend. They don't revert either. Just add adequate light. They're truly one of the most incredible Philodendron in existence. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not calling them a "blizzard". 😊
I'm glad to hear you speak so highly of Micans. I just ordered a small starter plant. It's going to be my first philodendron, as well as the first plant I ordered online. Going down that rabbit hole.
I've been able to propagate Florida beauty as easy as English ivey... trick is just cut and stick them in running , heated (72 degrees F) water. I put then in the overflow of my fish tank. So waters constantly running over the node. Barely any light even, just the ambient. Roots every time. Even without a leaf. Try under running water. I bet a circulating or drip set DWC hydroponics would be even easier.
Thank you for your eloquent delivery of information. You are a real inspiration to me as I am just now beginning my love affair with plants as a true full-time hobbies and potential sell. Thank you keep up the great.
I agree with the P. Micans. I let it crawl on the tree, and it looks happy and it gives me a lot of big and mature leaves. The back of the leaf resemble a juvenile verrucusom. Absolutely gorgeous. 💚
Philodendron Silver Sword is SO under rated! Mine is one of my FAVOURITE plants and I will keep him forever! Also variegated Joepii I haven't seen before and OMG🤤🤤🤤 also I knew you loved Pink Princess really 💗🥰
A seller actually sent me a Silver Sword for free along with my other purchase and its gorgeous! I bought a variegated version recently but I think the normal version is just as nice 🥰
Bought my billietiae in a garden centre in the Netherlands for 10 euro about 2 months ago. So they are pretty cheap now. Little bit smaller than the one you showed.
15:56 Oh my gosh! I died laughing when you mentioned Ben likes to “come along and snip snip” because that is my boyfriend. I’m all the time saying “no, let this one grow” 🤣
The cinderella slipper thing also happens when your plant has a sort of nutrient deficiency like cal mag... though not applicable to a pink princess... only high humidity to save this gorgeous yet unlikeable plant from itself 😂
Cal/Mag deficiency is often overseen. It crippled many of my plants after using a bad coco coir in my mix and watering it with RO-water. Took me a long time to identify the culprit.
I agree! Love the Philodendron Micans!!! It's just beautiful! The Pink Princess is one is my fav plants, but I get your frustration! I chopped mine back due to leaves getting stuck etc. The first leave came out so pretty, but it's tiny???? 😅
I looove that dark Squamicale, if I see one for a decent price I'll snatch it up for sure. I agree Silver Swords are underrated, mine just put out his first leaf with the lobes. I don't like it with variegation though TBH.
The micans….yes! YES! I got a tiny one and when the leaves got big it was so sexy. Love the dark leaves and yes…. Always growing onto my wall, shelf, it’s a very prolific grower!!!
I have several of the ones you mentioned. El Choco red, Florida green, beauty, ghost and bronze, Billi, micans and love them all. Can’t wait to see the next episode
I still love my PPP and am lucky that I was able to get one with great variegation at a reasonably low price and all my props have good variegation too, I know other people are over it but not me. I’m waiting for mine to get larger and I still want to get a whipple way too
Just remembered that you're working on the fertilizer! Girl, when is it coming out? 😁 I need it as my fertilizer started molding and I need a new one as spring is here 😬
Hi Kaylee, thanks for another wonderful video. Your knowledge and plants are incredible. I am a big philodendron fan (Have 139 diferent species at the moment housed in my private rainforest here in Rio de Janeiro) and was wondering if you would happen to know who has the biggest collection of philodendrons in the world?
Crawlers should be grown in those elongated terrace boxes, so it can go from one side to the other. Unless you are looking to propagate them, then you can just let it grow from pot to pot and cut as it establishes root, then sell out.. 🤔😉
Philodendrons have been my passion for the last 2 years and still is though I have added alot more Anthuriums into my collection. Always love your videos and use your comments as benchmarks as I move along this plants' journey. Thank you and I do look forward to this Friday meet
Thank you VERY MUCH for pointing out that some philos are crawlers and aren't bush or climbers! The internet seems to think they are all climbers or bush form - never is it mentioned that some crawl!! I would have stuck my Gloriosum on a pole otherwise!
Just got philodendron WW, WP, WK, and melanochrysum! Needed something to curb my philodendron fix so I don’t get anymore and this hit the spot. Thank you!!
Philo favs in my collection are:tortum, majesty(mine has the big mature leaves!),sp.colombia, silver sword, glorious, gloriousum, florida ghost and paloraense
Prink princess not my cup of tea but silver sword is super sexy and have a baby one. I got it for 3 bucks at a plant show at the same time I bought a philodendron birken I regret getting cause it reverted and after a good while of nothing but green leaves it finally put out a normal leaf
My Pink Princess was doing the same with its leaves… I put it outdoors in a shady spot and it did so much better…. could it be airflow? or removing the perfect environment for pests or diseases? lucky its the end summer atm…
I love your posts. Funny, real , human but also great information. Have a question. What’s do you think of yrs lights? I have rubbish light in my house and have them everywhere over my plants. Jam also in Adelaide South Australia Australia
Yeeess, omg I was dreaming about this :D I'm so into Philodendrons right now and I was wondering when you'll show us your philodendron collection. Finally! 🎉😂❤
I Love my Plants... I work on then ALOT... sometimes while drunk... Ive done things I probably should not have....I think they understand... I work on them extra well. :).... watered and bathed with boiled / warm rain water/plant food :P whats not to love :)
In Canada 🇨🇦 billietiae has had a big big price drop . I payed 150 for my big billietiae . I went to my garden center in my town and they had some small billietiae for 3.99$ .....wow big price drop. Even ring of fire 🔥 9.99$ . Are you going to be able to ship to Canada 🇨🇦?
Hey @KayleeEllen ! Just to bring some information, your "Philodendron Squamiferum Blood" is actually a "Philodendron Squamicaule", which yours is a "Philodendron Squamicaule Pink" ! By the way just love your videos, thanks to share your passion with us ! 🥰
The plant market is so strange to me. On mother's day weekend, my local grocery store (which NEVER has much of a selection of desirable houseplants) had a whole army of nice looking pink princesses for under $40. I still remember when those things were going for a pretty penny!
Not me... getting a squami black/blood by accident and for only $6 😂😂😂 I bought a philodendron fuzzy pink something or another and they sent me the wrong plant then closed up shop.... now that plant is worth a lot lol
of all the philodendrons Giganteum Variegata is absolutely my favorite 😂 once I chopped mine on the top she grew me 4 SEPARATE babies from her growth points beneath the soil 🥹 couldn't love them more.
Hi Kaylee. New to your channel. Love the info on the philodendron. Curious about the name of the palm tree in the picture when you were talking about the philodendron micans. If anyone else knows, please let me know. Thank you
I love Silver Sword but I find them difficult. I can get them to grow mature leaves but then my two just end up loosing all the lower leaves 😢. I love Micans too but if I let them trail, they start growing tiny leaves and then I put it up a pole and it seemed happy and then just dies for no reason.
Personally , due to the flowers & foliage I’m usually drawn too (Begonia) , I just don’t usually mess around with the full green or variegated tropical plants.. I usually go for colour & crazy looks. but theres a few I do love , some Philodendron, Alocasia , Monstera , Anthurium & syngonium to name the more common families. And I’ve definitely found myself drawn more & more towards those plants now , & I’m starting to get into them & add them slowly into my collection😊
We have such similar taste in plants. I've downsized but have too many of these lol. I have several specimens claimed to be SP Colombia by the seller. But one seems different? What's the difference between SP Silver and SP Colombia? How can I tell?
Hi, at 9:40 it's not squamiferum it's squamicaule. Posting this just in case anyone is looking to buy one and gets confused.
I just got philodendron billietiae today and I'm in love. I found mine in a 6 inch pot for only $4.50!!
What a steal!!❤
That's such a good deal! Would you mind sharing where you found it?
@xDestinyx it was just at a local plant store in Nanaimo BC. They don't ship or anything though.
Out of all the philodendron's you've shown throughout the years, the Whipple Way has my eye. The first time you showed one on your channel, I started looking for one. I can't afford one so I dream through your channel. 💗💗💗💗

I use a scalpel to tease and cut out those stuck leaves.
Please kaylee make a video about fertilising plants in semi hydroponics. It is a request please please
I'm glad to hear you speak so highly of Micans. I just ordered a small starter plant. It's going to be my first philodendron, as well as the first plant I ordered online. Going down that rabbit hole.
On the giganteum, when they are huge, they are stunning. The leaf gets so much better and balances out with the petiole
You really make me want a gloriosum ❤😊
I've been able to propagate Florida beauty as easy as English ivey... trick is just cut and stick them in running , heated (72 degrees F) water. I put then in the overflow of my fish tank. The cinderella slipper thing also happens when your plant has a sort of nutrient deficiency like cal mag... though not applicable to a pink princess... only high humidity to save this gorgeous yet unlikeable plant from itself 😂
I keep my PPP in my cabinet, often above 80% humidity and it still does the Cinderella slipper thing with every leaf 🤦🏽♀️😭
Cal/Mag deficiency is often overseen. It crippled many of my plants after using a bad coco coir in my mix and watering it with RO-water. Took me a long time to identify the culprit.
My favourite collection is the philodendron collection. The versatility of them are amazing and so easy going 😍🥰 I love this vid
Winter ladies 😂 I have a Jose Buono that green’d out. Any chance variegation will come back?
I love a good Billie! And the silver sword is beautiful, I love that one. Someday I’ll get my hands on a whipple way
I agree! Love the Philodendron Micans!!! It's just beautiful! The Pink Princess is one is my fav plants, but I get your frustration! I chopped mine back due to leaves getting stuck etc. The first leave came out so pretty, but it's tiny???? 😅

Have you tried propagating with a sphagum moss pole? Sydney Plant Guy does it and says it massively improves the success rate.
The micans….yes! YES! I got a tiny one and when the leaves got big it was so sexy. Love the dark leaves and yes…. Always growing onto my wall, shelf, it’s a very prolific grower!!!
The sp Silver is a Colombia Platinum which is a type of Pasta
Pasta ? 😮
I have several of the ones you mentioned. El Choco red, Florida green, beauty, ghost and bronze, Billi, micans and love them all. Can’t wait to see the next episode

Are you selling the props?? I’m interested!!!
Just remembered that you're working on the fertilizer! Girl, when is it coming out? 😁 I need it as my fertilizer started molding and I need a new one as spring is here 😬

I have a PPP, imperial red, birkin, melanochrysum, white knight, white wizard and sodiroi giant silver! I can't stop, there so nice!
Thank you VERY MUCH for pointing out that some philos are crawlers and aren't bush or climbers! The internet seems to think they are all climbers or bush form - never is it mentioned that some crawl!! I would have stuck my Gloriosum on a pole otherwise!
I LOOOVE PHILODENDRON!!! 💓💓💓The Whipple Way would be beautiful beautiful in your blush pot!!!🥰😍💖! Enjoy your holiday.💓
Your looking amazing 😊 have a great holiday ❤❤
Variegated giganteum is on my wishlist lol. Got a nice size silver sword for $8 at our grocery store.
Love the sp columbia platinum!! Have to see in person to completely appreciate
I just fell in love with philodendron all over again.
Just got philodendron WW, WP, WK, and melanochrysum! Needed something to curb my philodendron fix so I don’t get anymore and this hit the spot. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this and all your videos…so appreciate your knowledge, energy and most importantly your integrity! Love your channel!!
My husband just bought me two philodendrons and this drops?! Perfection
Philo favs in my collection are:tortum, majesty(mine has the big mature leaves!),sp.colombia, silver sword, glorious, gloriousum, florida ghost and paloraense

Cinderella syndrome 😂 that’s a perfect description!!
Prink princess not my cup of tea but silver sword is super sexy and have a baby one. I got it for 3 bucks at a plant show at the same time I bought a philodendron birken I regret getting cause it reverted and after a good while of nothing but green leaves it finally put out a normal leaf
My green wend-imbe has stayed tiny, for over a year lol. Doesn't seem to have problems, maybe I'll throw it in my terrarium lol
My Pink Princess was doing the same with its leaves… I put it outdoors in a shady spot and it did so much better…. could it be airflow? or removing the perfect environment for pests or diseases? lucky its the end summer atm…
Hi Kaylee! I hope your doing well!!! I love your videos and I would LOVE to see a video with your top 10 favorites 😍

Just got into this hobby & your channel rocks! Do you export to US?
I love your posts. Funny, real , human but also great information. Have a question. What’s do you think of yrs lights? I have rubbish light in my house and have them everywhere over my plants. Jam also in Adelaide South Australia Australia
I know the one your calling Squaniferium dark as Serpens Chocolate. I thought the Squami has Flordia shape leaves? Idk? Can’t wait for part 2! 💚💚💚
That's right, it's squamicaule, not squamiferum :) Squamiferum has a different leaf shape
@@PozdrawiamMame Yup, squamicaule
Agreed. In Australia those are squamicaule….. but we don’t have the black 😭
Yeeess, omg I was dreaming about this :D I'm so into Philodendrons right now and I was wondering when you'll show us your philodendron collection. Finally! 🎉😂❤
A fab collection
I love philodendrons

Hey @KayleeEllen ! Just to bring some information, your "Philodendron Squamiferum Blood" is actually a "Philodendron Squamicaule", which yours is a "Philodendron Squamicaule Pink" !
By the way just love your videos, thanks to share your passion with us ! 🥰
Step sister with the missing slipper.. So true.. 😂😂
10:00 winter ladies 😂😂😂
Love your videos! I wish you were in the so I could order from you.

Hi Kaylee. New to your channel. Love the info on the philodendron. Curious about the name of the palm tree in the picture when you were talking about the philodendron micans. If anyone else knows, please let me know. Thank you
I think the one you call Philo. squamiferum it’s a squamicaule, the leaves are completely different
Love this video thanks kaylee!
Cinderella syndrome 😂 perfect.
Does anyone else's brain play Hagrid when she says, " I shouldn't have done that...."? No, just me😂😂😂
wow this is awesome, nice plant
I love Silver Sword but I find them difficult. I can get them to grow mature leaves but then my two just end up loosing all the lower leaves 😢. I love Micans too but if I let them trail, they start growing tiny leaves and then I put it up a pole and it seemed happy and then just dies for no reason.
That's pastazanum silver was too beautiful I have to have one! 😂
Philo squamiferum or squamicaule @ 9:44
There’s so many philodendrons this will take forever & still never finish 😅
With that said I love love love philodendrons 🥰
"It is winter.. ladies. " I feel so called out 😂
could the pastazanum actually be crossed with sodiroi? i've seen a few online that claim that and it looks very close to yours
I just got a whale fin what do you know about this plant ?
Loved it!
Hahahaha I hear ya w the pink princess lmao
Hey Kaylee am i the only guy that will comment on how great your videos and plants are ? anyway, great stuff! thanks from Canada
Amazing
28:44 needs to be a GIF. You are too cute.
Please address the difference btwn Monstera Variegated White Tiger and Albo?????
Maybe you need to start putting neon labels on plans you don't want Ben to touch 🙂
Was that squaumicaule or serpens blood?
Yeah, I'm also a bit confused, bc I have a squamicaule that looks exactly like this, but the petioles and the hairs are all red too 😮
As far as your legal battle goes. Good for you , stick to your guns. I for one love every bout of your content 😊

Are they all in 100% Leca?
We have such similar taste in plants. I've downsized but have too many of these lol. I have several specimens claimed to be SP Colombia by the seller. But one seems different? What's the difference between SP Silver and SP Colombia? How can I tell?
I suspect one is Silver. I hope it's Silver. I agree with you on Joeppi being better variegated. My green one is just underwhelming.
when the squamiferum popped onto the screen with the baby leaf I laughed out loud, I'm sorry.
